1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each entrant.
2. Any costs associated with entering (i.e. by email) remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
3. Entry is
open to residents of Australia & New Zealand only and persons that are 13 years of age or older. Directors, management and employees of the Promoter and agencies, retailers and suppliers associated with this promotion and the immediate family members of these people are ineligible to enter.
4. Promotion commences at 12:00pm (AEST) on Wednesday February 20, 2013 and
closes at 12:00pm (AEST) on Tuesday February 26, 2013 (Promotional Period).5. To enter:

b) In 25 words or less, tell us why you wanted to share that photo moments after it was taken.
6. The main prize is:
- One (1) NEX-5R Black Compact System Camera with 16-50mm lens7. Entries must be received during the Promotional Period. Entries will be deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. Any entry that contains swearing, defamatory comments, inappropriate, misleading or offensive language will, at the judges’ discretion, be deemed to be ineligible. Only one entry per person and email address permitted.
8. All entries remain the property of the entrant. By submitting photographs and written material as part of this promotion, the entrant/s acknowledge and agree that the Promoter and its sub licensees may, without compensation, use, reproduce and publish any entry (including pictures and written material submitted as part of any entry (and higher resolution versions of those pictures, whether or not submitted as part of an entry)) in any media (including on the Fotohood by Sony | AU & NZ Facebook page

www.sony.com.au and/or on in-store displays, and including in combination (or in a montage) with other entries or pictures) for the purpose of: (a) advertising, promoting, marketing or publicising this promotion; or (b) any future promotional, advertising, marketing and/or publicity activities for similar promotions (in each case, from the commencement of the Promotional Period until the date that is 36 months after the announcement of the prize winners for this promotion). The Promoter may use the name and photograph of the prize winners for promotional purposes without compensation, except where a prize winner advises the Promoter otherwise when accepting the prize. By entering the promotion, unless the Promoter is otherwise advised, Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information for facilitating the promotion, awarding prizes and for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, and disclosing that information to its related bodies corporate and contractors for those purposes. Entrants consent to the Promoter updating or amending the written material submitted as part of this promotion if required by the Promoter.
9. All valid entries will be judged by representatives of the Promoter based upon literary and creative merit. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Judging will take place on 1 occasion during the Promotional Period with one (1) prize to be awarded. Judging will take place at the office of Sony Australia Limited at 33-39 Talavera Road North Ryde NSW 2113 on February 27, 2013 at 09:00am (AEST). On each judging date, from among all eligible entries received up to that date, the best valid entry as determined by the judge/s will be awarded the prize. Winners will be notified by reply email from March 1, 2013 at 14:00 (AEST) and will be required to send back their name and contact details in order to receive the prize. Each eligible entrant is only eligible to win one prize.
10. All promotions administered or communicated via Facebook are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
11. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If a prize, or element of a prize, is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value for that prize, or element of it.
12. In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed by March 4, 2013 at 12:00 (AEST) the relevant winner/s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to distribute the prize to the next best valid entry.
13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prizes. Independent financial advice should be sought.
14. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion. If the promotion is not capable of being conducted due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, including due to any technical or communications problems, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any entrant who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with, the entry process or the promotion.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify and remove any entry that is deemed inappropriate, entries with defamatory or offensive content or incorrect contact details. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for misdirected, lost or delayed entries and entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period, or for any technical difficulties with entry.
17. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), expense, damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) relating to this promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
18. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage in transit to prizes.
19. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose claimants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with claimants. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. The Promoter may, unless otherwise advised, use the information for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant.
