In her feature film debut, Sparks stars as Sparkle, a young woman whose big dreams seem almost impossible. Despite being warned against the pitfalls of the music industry by her protective mother (Whitney Houston), Sparkle forms a trio with her sisters (Tika Sumpter and Carmen Ejogo), encouraged by the support of the handsome and ambitious Stix (Derek Luke).

Together, the sisters perform the soul-stirring songs that Sparkle pens, but as their fame grows, so too do the risks of jealousy, self-doubt and insidious temptation. This soulful and sweeping drama is brought to life with a powerful all-star cast including Mike Epps (Jumping the Broom), Omari Hardwick (The Runner), and singer Cee-Lo Green.

In commemoration of Houston's final feature film, the posthumous releas of Sparkle will debut on the small screen two weeks before the first anniversary of her death. Blu-ray and DVD Bonus features also pay homage to the much-loved and talented star, including a moving featurette, "Tribute to Whitney Houston", that stars Harvey Mason Jr, filmmakers, screenwriters and cast from the film.

A must-see for all Houston fans and film buffs, Sparkle is available on Blu-ray™ and DVD 31st January 2013.
