You might not know Fletcher by name, but you might know his voice. As the frontman for Bluebottle Kiss and The Devoted Few, Ben Fletcher has been penning yearning, shambling ballads since last century.

Now he's stepping out on his own with Upon Ayr, written and recorded in snatches while touring in Sarah Blasko's band. It's sparse, occasionally dark, but with twinkles of hope around the edges and pretty darn good.
