American author, social critic and political activist, Naomi Wolf, is coming to Brisbane in an extremely rare Australian appearance as part of Brisbane Writers Festival’s Bookend series. In this provocative and wide-ranging conversation, Naomi will tackle questions of contemporary feminism and discuss how society responds to women’s desire: Do we objectify female leaders more than men? Do we seek to undermine women's confidence and power through our attitudes to their bodies? Why is female sexuality viewed with mistrust and confusion?
