Below is a detailed itinerary of the Canada tour:
DAY 1 – Vancouver Arrival
An overnight stay in Vancouver begins your vacation (transfer to hotel not included). An excellent choice to spend your first day in Vancouver would be to go visit the world-famous Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver. Suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River, this is truly a unique and fun experience for all.
DAY 2 – Vancouver Touring
This morning enjoy a guided two-hour tour of the Granville Island Public Market with Edible Canada. You will receive a tote bag, tastings of regional foods, tips on food selection, preparation & recipes, bottled water and a 10% off coupon for the Edible Canada Retail Store. A free afternoon is yours to shop and explore the dynamic port city of Vancouver.
DAY 3 – Vancouver to Victoria
Transfer by motor coach and ferry to Victoria, the capital of B.C., located on Vancouver Island. In the afternoon enjoy a Panorama Flightseeing tour. This sightseeing flight is an ideal introduction to seaplane aviation and includes spectacular vistas of downtown Victoria and the Juan de Fuca Strait with the Olympic Mountains in the distance.
DAY 4 – Victoria to Vancouver to Whistler
This morning, depart Victoria for Vancouver. Then, tour to Whistler on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway. Upon arrival in Whistler Village, the rest of the day is at leisure to explore on your own.
DAY 5 – Exploring Whistler
Take part in a unique Bear Awareness Walk this morning with Whistler Eco Tours. Learn about the Black Bears that inhabit the Whistler Valley and the surrounding areas. You will hike in bear territory, study bear tracks and explore bear dens. On this tour you will learn bear facts and what to do when one encounters a bear. A great experience for anybody who enjoys exploring the Canadian wilderness. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the sights of Whistler. You may wish to take in the scenery with a spectacular trip up the Whistler Sightseeing Gondola or participate in another guided hike, ATV tour, or helicopter ride.
Note: The Bear Awareness Walk only runs on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
DAY 6 – Whistler to Vancouver
Today you will depart Whistler and transfer to Vancouver International Airport or downtown Vancouver.

Terms and ConditionsHere are the terms and conditions for the Adventure World Win a Trip to Canada competition:
1. Prize includes: Two return economy class airfares from Sydney to Vancouver, plus applicable air taxes, and 5 nights’ accommodation and inclusions as per outlined itinerary.
2. Prize is for two people twin share and
is valid for departure between 01 October 2013 until 30 June 2014. Prize is subject to availability at time of booking. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winners.
3. Contest is open only to legal residents of Australia and New Zealand
who are the age of majority or older at the time of entry. No purchase is required.
Employees of Adventure World, National Geographic Society, National Geographic Channel, SKY Television, the Arts Centre Melbourne and the Edge and each of their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such individuals, and their agencies or representatives are not eligible to enter or win a prize. CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED
4. The prize cannot be transferred to another person, nor upgraded, nor exchanged or sold for cash or used with any other promotions. It is non-commissionable and cannot be extended past June 30, 2014.
5. Competition opens at 7am on Saturday25th May 2013 AEST and closes at midnight on 1 Sept 2013 AEST.
6. Winners will be decided by 30 September 2013 and notified by email.
7. Contest consists of one (1) round of evaluation. A panel of National Geographic Live representatives (the “Judges”) will choose one (1) Grand Prize Winner based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):

10. Entries must answer the competition question in 25 words or less. Any entry with more than 25 words will be disqualified.
11. Entries which do not contain sufficient information will be disqualified.
12. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion, or who the Promoter feels is physically or mentally in an unfit state to accept the prize. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
13. Other ancillary costs, including all out of pocket expenses, spending money, meals (other than specified), insurance, passports, visas, excess baggage charges, and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winners.
14. Unless the entrant ticks the opt-in box to receive promotional messaging from Adventure World and National Geographic, personally identifiable information collected through entry into this promotion will be shared with Adventure World and the Judges for use as described in clause 22 below.
15. In using the personal information of entrants who tick the opt-in box to avail of the Adventure World $100 travel voucher in the purposes set out above, the Promoter and Adventure World Travel are bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act (Cth) 1988. A copy of Adventure Worlds privacy policy can be viewed at
www.adventureworld.com.au. The $100 Adventure World discount voucher is in AUD and limited to one voucher per entrant, conditions apply – valid for new bookings greater than AU $3,000 in which deposits are received by the stated validity date. Only one voucher permitted per booking and not valid in conjunction with any other offers.
16. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner. Please refer to Adventure World Booking Conditions at
www.adventureworld.com.au – standard booking conditions apply. All components of the prize must be taken together or otherwise are deemed to be forfeited. Travel must be arranged by the winner contacting Adventure World quoting their full name and promotion title.
17. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel destination to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
18. The Promoter may award the prize to the 1st runner up judged entry in order to award the prize if unclaimed. In the event of any winner in the unclaimed prize judging, the winner will be notified by email and phone call.
19. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
20. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. 22. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages. If you do not provide the information, you cannot participate. The Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winner’s name, and locality in any media as required under relevant legislation.
