Not so ye-olde-worldy is a LCD screen allowing for TextSCAN, which enables full control of scrolling text and 16 presets (eight digital, eight FM). They’ve also got a USB socket for software updates.
And for those who want to be wired for sound, there’s an optional rechargeable battery pack available for separate purchase. Simply charge the battery from mains power for 20 hours of tunes.
