How do I enter the promotion?
Just buy a specially marked Snowpad promotional carton (24 x 355mL bottles) of Carlton Dry beer for off premise consumption from any participating outlet and scan the QR code located on the case to submit your details. Alternatively entries can be submitted online at www.carltondry.com.au/snowpad

Help I can’t find my unique code?
The unique code is printed on the inside wall of all specially marked cases of Carlton Dry and on the cardboard divider located in specially marked can cubes of Carlton Dry.

My code isn’t working – what do I do?
Your unique code is made up of a combination of letters and numbers so the first thing to do is check that you are not mixing up your Z’s with 2’s and your zeros with O’s etc. If your code is still not working than please call CUB Customer Relations on 1800 007 282.

I can’t scan the QR code, can I still enter?
Not a problem. You can still enter online at www.carltondry.com.au/snowpad using the unique code printed within your case.

If I am drawn as the major prize winner, can I choose when to take my prize?
Unfortunately not, the major prize winner must be able to take the trip between the following dates based on the draw date:

Do I get to choose which of my mates I take along for the trip?
Of course, they just need to be aged 18 years or over to be eligible to accompany you.

Is there a limit to how many times I can enter?
No, but you must hold onto your receipts, and will only be able to enter once per case. Other than that you are welcome to enter as many times as you would like although can only be drawn as a winner once.

When are the prizes drawn?
There will be 30 prizes to be won instantly and randomly based on pre-determined times during the competition period via a computer generated random system.

Prize Details There are 30 instant win minor prizes and four major prizes to be won.

Each major prize is a trip for the winner and three companions (who must be aged 18 years or over) to attend the Carlton Dry Snowpad at Falls Creek, Victoria valued at up to $29,204 (inc GST), depending on the winner’s point of departure. Each entrant will receive a return online notification confirming their successful entry into the competition. By entering this competition, entrants consent to receiving this electronic message.

Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. Failure of an entrant to provide their receipt(s) (as per the Retain Receipt Requirements) (without alteration) to the Promoter upon request may, at the Promoter’s discretion, result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter’s discretion, in all of the entrant’s entries being invalid). The Promoter is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. Entrants who enter using multiple email addresses or aliases may be disqualified. The Major Prize Draws will be conducted at the time, dates and location as stated in the Major Prize Draw Details. In each Major Prize Draw, the first valid entry randomly drawn from all valid entries received (including previous minor prize winners) up to the time of the relevant Major Prize Draw will win a major prize.

The prizes are as stated in the Prize Details. Each major prize consists of the following:

(a) return economy airfares (including airfare taxes) for the major prize winner and their three companions from the major prize winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Tullamarine Airport, Melbourne. If the major prize winner resides in Victoria, airfares are not included and the major prize winner and their companions are responsible for making their own way to and from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne;

(b) return transfers between Tullamarine Airport and Falls Creek (or between Southern Cross Station and Falls Creek if the major prize winner is a Victorian resident) for the major prize winner and their three companions;

(c) three nights accommodation (twin share) at Cedarwood Apartments for the major prize winner and their three companions;

(d) three days snow boarding equipment hire (including jacket, pants, boots and board) for the major prize winner and each of their three companions;

(e) a two hour snowboarding lesson for the major prize winner and their three companions;

(f) $584 (inc GST) food and beverage allowance per person;

(g) a three day lift pass, a snow bungy experience, a snow tubbing experience and a night skiing experience for the major prize winner and each of their companions; and (h) travel insurance for the major prize winner and each of their companions.

Flights, activities and accommodation are subject to booking and availability. The major prize must be taken between 04/07/13 and 08/07/13 (inclusive) by the winner in Major Prize Draw 1, between 11/07/13 and 15/07/13 (inclusive) by the winner in Major Prize Draw 2, between 18/07/13 and 22/07/13 (inclusive) by the winner in Major Prize Draw 3 and between 25/07/13 and 29/07/13 (inclusive) by the winner in Major Prize Draw 4. All other costs associated with the major prize, including but not limited to any additional transfer costs, additional food and beverages, additional taxes, additional insurance and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the major prize winner and his/her companions, as incurred. The major prize winner and their companions must depart and return at the same time. The major prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions specified by the prize supplier(s).

The winners will be notified in accordance with the Winners Notification above. By entering this competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published.

The winners (and the major prize winners’ companions) must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.

Entrants and winners (and the major prize winners’ companions) acknowledge that there are inherent risks in some aspects of the prizes and that using the prizes involves participating in dangerous activities. By entering this competition and/or accepting a prize, entrants and the major prize winners’ companions accept that risk.

In order to participate in the activities awarded as part of the major prize, the major prize winners and their companions must be aged 18 or over and comply with applicable height, weight, health, fitness and any other requirements normally associated with a particular activity. It is each major prize winner’s responsibility to ensure that they and their companions are sufficiently healthy and fit so as to safely take the trip and undertake the activities awarded as part of the major prize. The Promoter reserves the right to deem that a major prize winner and their companions are not sufficiently healthy or fit. Each major prize winner must comply with all requirements and directions of the people responsible for the conduct of the relevant activity and must ensure that their companions also comply. The major prize winners and their companions must sign an indemnity and exclusion of liability form (provided by the Promoter) in favour of all parties involved in this competition and/or providing the major prize prior to undertaking the activities included in the major prize. If a major prize winner or any of their nominated companions do not sign the form provided by the Promoter within the time requested by the Promoter, that major prize winner’s entry or claim will be deemed invalid.

The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.

If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, including if a major prize winner is unable to take the major prize on the dates specified by the Promoter and as detailed in paragraph 7, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with paragraph 5.

Printing and other quality control errors outside the Promoter’s control will not invalidate an otherwise valid minor prize claim. Every minor prize claim in excess of the advertised minor prize pool will be honoured, unless such claim is rejected due to fraud or ineligibility under these conditions.

The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel a major prize or otherwise cease to provide any benefit of a major prize to a major prize winner (and their companions, if applicable) if the major prize winner (or their companions, if applicable), in the opinion of the Promoter, are under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behaves aggressively or offensively, or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash (unless where cash is specified). If for any reason a major prize winner or their companions does not take an element of the major prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the major prize will be forfeited by the major prize winner and cash will not be supplied in lieu of that element of the major prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If a prize or any element of a major prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize or element of the major prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, if required.

If a prize has not been accepted, claimed or won in accordance with the either the Minor Prize Claim Date and Time or Major Prize Claim Date and Time, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will conduct such further draws in accordance with the either the Unclaimed/Unwon Minor Prize Draw Details or the Unclaimed Major Prize Draw Details (as applicable) as are necessary to distribute the prize(s), subject to any requirements of the gaming authorities in each state and territory. Any winner(s) in this/these draw/s will be notified as stated in the Unclaimed/Unwon Minor Prize Draw Winner Notification or Unclaimed Major Prize Draw Winner Notification.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage or delay in transit to prizes.

Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability.

If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, if required.

The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where this competition involves, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants will follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
