To celebrate the Australian release of Now You See Me, we want you to make an up to 15 second video on Instagram that features the most imaginative appearance or disappearance you can think of, using the #nysm5000 hashtag. This illusion could feature yourself, an object, a pet, cash – anything. Your illusion could be created from simply pressing pause to add or remove something, to the wildest illusory plans you can concoct! The competition will be judged by award-winning Australian magician James Galea.

To celebrate the release of this star-studded action-thriller on August 8, we’ve decided to make this fictional story a bit more real! In Now You See Me FBI agent Dylan (Mark Ruffalo) and Interpol detective Alma (Melanie Laurent) track a team of illusionists who call themselves 'The Four Horsemen' (played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco) who pull off bank heists during their live performances and reward their audiences with the money! We thought why not reward you, our audience with some cash for your creativity! So we came up with this simple contest, the winner of which will receive $5000 cash! The rules are simple:
We want you to make up to a 15 second video on Instagram that features the most imaginative appearance or disappearance you can think of, using the #nysm5000 hashtag. This illusion could feature yourself, an object, a pet, cash – anything. Your illusion could be created from simply pressing pause to add or remove something, all you have to do is use your imagination!
There are already several really exciting entries that we posted on the competition site so make sure you are equally (or even more) creative. The competition runs until midnight (EST) of August 25, so there is plenty of time to think of a fun and imaginative idea. We'll be announcing the winner in the beginning of September. Terms and Conditions:

This Promo-on is a game of skill and the following Terms and Conditions apply:
1.This PromoNon runs from 12pm 17 July 2013 unNl 11.59pm 27 August 2013 (PromoNon Period).
2.The Prize is $5,000AUD to be paid by online transfer to the winner’s nominated bank account.
3.This PromoNon is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over (Entrant) and each individual Entrant
can enter mulNple Nmes.
4.To enter the PromoNon, Entrants must have an Instagram account, provide their name, address, email and
phone number at www.nysm.com.au complete the skill component via Instagram.
5.Entrants must during the PromoNon Period upload a unique and creaNve video via the Instagram applicaNon
that demonstrates creaNvity in staging a magic or disappearing trick (Skill Video).
6.The Skill Video must relate to the feature film Now You See Me and be uploaded on Instagram with the unique tag #NYSM5000 and comply with the House Rules below. Any Skill Video that does not saNsfy all of
these requirements will be disqualified.
7.The following House Rules must be complied with by all Entrants when creaNng a Skill Video:
Any parNcipant in the Skill Video must provide consent if over the age of 18 or have the consent of a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.
Intellectual property rights, such as but not limited to copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person must not be infringed.
The Skill Video must not contain any material which is defamatory of any other person, any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory or sexually explicit in nature.
The Skill Video must not harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person or show or encourage discriminaNon based on race, as well as sex, religion, naNonality, disability, sexual orientaNon or age.
The Skill Video must not show or encourage any illegal or immoral acNvity, violence, racial hatred, and cruelty to animals or any other anN-social or unlawful behaviour of any kind.
The Skill Video must not give the impression it is endorsed by the Promoter.
8.If any Skill Video breaches these Terms and CondiNons, the House Rules or any applicable law, the Promoter reserves the right to de-tag, take down, remove or delete (where possible) any such images and in any event, such Skill Video and the parNcipant that posted the Skill Video shall be disqualified from the PromoNon.
9.The Promoter reserves the right to pass on any images or Skill Videos that infringe the above House Rules to the relevant authoriNes.
10.Entrants warrant and undertake that they are the legal and beneficial owner of all intellectual property rights in their Skill Video and that it is their own original work and does not infringe any third party rights. Entrants hereby waive and agree not to assert any moral rights in and in connecNon with the video.
11.Entrants warrant that all parNcipants in the Skill Video agree to be featured in the Skill Video and for the Skill Video to be submiged via Instagram. Entrants warrant all parNcipants have waived and agree not to assert any applicable moral or similar rights and agree to the video being entered in the contest and the Entrant warrants that applicable consents have been obtained.
12.By submihng the Skill Video, Entrants grant the Promoter and the companies associated with the Promoter an irrevocable, transferable, worldwide, free right of use of the Skill Video covering all methods of use, in parNcular the use, distribuNon, reproducNon, translaNon and modificaNon of the video and any accompanying text for commercial and media purposes by the Promote.
13.Entrants accept that all Skill Videos submiged via Instagram will feature in a video gallery at hgp:// www.nowyoudont.com.au as well as on the Promoter’s Facebook page. These pages are updated in
14.James Galea will, in consultaNon with the Promoter, select the best Skill Video based upon originality, creaNvity, and adherence to the House Rules and other requirements. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15.Each entry must be the Entrant’s original work. By entering the PromoNon, Entrants consent to the Promoter making copies of the whole or any part of their entry and otherwise exploiNng the entry to publicise the PromoNon or for any other purposes and undertake to the Promoter that their entry is not, and its use by the Promoter will not be, in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.
16.Entries that in the Promoter’s opinion are offensive, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate or that infringe any third party rights will be invalid.
17.Entries will be judged at the Promoter’s premises within 5 business days amer the PromoNon’s closing date. Winners will be noNfied by email and/or phone within 2 business days of judging and can claim prizes by contacNng the Promoter by email, phone or post.
18.Should any prize be unclaimed 5 business days amer winner noNficaNon, a new winner or winners will be selected, in accordance with the above procedure.
19. ParNcipaNoninthePromoNonisdeemedacceptanceoftheseTermsandCondiNons.
20. The Nme of entry will in each case be the Nme the online entry is received by the Promoter’s database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical
disrupNons or for any other reason.
21. Employees of the Promoter, their partners, agents and suppliers associated with the PromoNon and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
22. Entry into the PromoNon is free. However, any costs associated with creaNng a Skill Video and accessing the entry page are the responsibility of the person seeking access and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
23. The Promoter reserves the right, at any Nme, to verify the validity of Skill Videos and Entrants (including an Entrant’s idenNty, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits Skill Video that is not in accordance with these Terms and CondiNons or who tampers with the entry process.
24. The prize winner will be noNfied by phone or email within 2 days of the judge’s decision or draw as applicable. Name of prize winner will be published on the Promoter’s website at www.hopscotchfilms.com.au/news within five business days of judging or the draw, as applicable.
25. Entrants consent to the Promoter and prize suppliers using the Entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneraNon for the purpose of promoNng the PromoNon (including any outcome), and promoNng any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or prize suppliers associated with the PromoNon.
26. If the PromoNon is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as anNcipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discreNon, to the fullest extent permiged by law (a) to disqualify any Entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the PromoNon. The Promoter reserves the right to subsNtute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value if a prize is for some reason unavailable.
27. The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Entrants’ personal informaNon is collected to enable idenNficaNon of the winners. Your personal informaNon will only be disclosed to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate for these purposes. Your personal informaNon will only be disclosed to any third party to the extent necessary to fulfil a prize and for no other reason without your consent.
28. Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the promoNonal period, it is the Entrant’s responsibility to noNfy the Promoter. A request to access or modify any personal informaNon should be directed to the Promoter.
29. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the opening date of the PromoNon (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value between then and the prize redempNon date.
30. WinnersshouldseekindependentfinancialadviceastaximplicaNonsmayarisefromaccepNngaprize.
31. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize by the Nme sNpulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
32. In order to parNcipate in the PromoNon and/or the acNviNes which may be awarded as part of the prize, the winner (and their companion/s, as applicable) must comply with any applicable height, weight, health, fitness, skill, and any other requirements normally associated with the parNcular acNvity. It is the Entrant’s responsibility to ensure that they (and their companion/s, as applicable) are sufficiently healthy and fit so as to safely parNcipate in the PromoNon and/or undertake the acNviNes awarded as part of the prize. Each Entrant completely releases Facebook and Instagram from any liability in connecNon with this PromoNon.
34. EntrantsareliabletocompensatethePromoterforanydamages,claims,costsandlegalfeescausedbyor based on the fact that the Entrant has uploaded a video that does not comply with these Terms and CondiNons, including uploading a Skill Video that infringes the rights of third parNes.
35. To the extent permiged by law, the Promoter, its partners, agents and suppliers are not liable for any loss or damage suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its partners, agents or suppliers or its or their employees, in connecNon with the supply of goods and services to the prize winner/s and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner/s. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permiged by law, any liability of the Promoter, its partners, agents and suppliers for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
