Luckily, the Melodie Francaise album is much less John Farnham attempting to re-release his discography in a French accent and more 14 really, really beautiful covers from some of our favourite Australian artists; see Gossling, Vance Joy, Lisa Mitchell, Oh Mercy, Big Scary, Thelma Plum, whew, we need to take a breath. To celebrate the CD’s release, the kids behind the making of it have also teamed up with Australia’s favourite French-based shoe brand, Spring Court. Thanks to them we’re giving away some seriously snazzy classic white canvas sneakers in time for spring (famously worn by John Lennon on the Abbey Road album cover), plus a copy of the Melodie Franciase CD.
