Princess Cruise Regional Viewer Promotion (the ‘Competition’) Terms and Conditions
1. Terms and Conditions of Entry
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
Australian residents who are 18 years or older may enter the competition by entering their details on the competition page on the PRIME7.com.au, GWN7.com.au, 7QLDprizepool.com.au websites or by sending their name, email & postcode via SMS to 1977 1717 or via Phone call to 1902 55 77 01.
For SMS entrants, each entry must be charged to a mobile account and SMS entries via the internet, computer generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted.
Entries must be received within the Competition Period as stated in clause 2 and the time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message or 1902 telephone call is received by the MNET Group Limited database.
SMS entrants will receive a reply message to their entry.
Each SMS entry will be charged at premium rate, namely $0.55 (including GST), which covers the entry and the reply message.
The 1902 call cost is $0.55 (including GST). 1902 call costs will be higher from mobile phones and are not available from pay phones.
Premium Services must be enabled on mobile phones (SMS entries) and landlines (1902 entries) in order to enter this competition. Entrants’ carrier can enable this service.

Participants may enter as many times as they like. No scripting is allowed for on-line entries (which will be deemed invalid).
By entering this competition, participants authorise to be subscribed to the promoters and their participating partners online and offline database. Participants may opt out at selecting the opt out link within the email correspondence.
Entries will close at 5.00pm AEST on Monday 16th September 2013
The Competition will be promoted via television commercials shown on Prime7, Gwn7 and 7QLD and via online display unit advertising.
2. Promotion Dates
The promotion commences on Monday 8th July 2013 at 10.00am AEST and concludes on Monday 16th September 2013 at 5.00pm AEST (The promotional period).

3. Prizes & Prize Winner Selection

Prizes are not transferable to another cruise or transferrable to another person without prior written approval from an authorised Carnival plc representative. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted and cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
Both the winner and their guest must be over 18 years of age at the commencement of the selected cruise.
The winner (and their companions) are responsible for all other expenses including on board expenditure (including any additional meals at specialty restaurants, beverages, extra entertainment, The Sanctuary, Beauty Salon, Lotus Spa, Casino, Boutiques, facilities fees or service charges not covered by the package terms for the relevant berth); airfares, pre and post cruise accommodation which is the responsibility of the prize winners. Laundry charges, activities, gratuities, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
If for any reason a prize winner does not use their prize within the time specified above, the prize is forfeited.
All other Carnival plc conditions of travel including cancellation policies apply to prizes and are detailed in the Princess Cruises 2012-14 Cruising from Australia brochure, Issued May 2012.
If the prize or portion of the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that there are any changes to the prize.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be requested to present their credit card upon arrival at any accommodation to cover all incidentals they may incur including their stay at that accommodation.
As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and their companions) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
By accepting this prize the winner may also be required to take part in further promotional activities.
Prize values mentioned in competitions are at the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier, and are correct at time of publishing. The promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of a prize occurring during the promotion.
Prize is subject to availability at time of booking and can only be taken on dates already scheduled for this tour.

Each correct entry via the website, SMS or 1902 Phone Number will be compiled and will be allocated a sequential number. At the time of draw the lowest value and highest value numbers are entered into an online application which generates random integers. Four (4) random integers will be selected for the major prize draw and the first four (4) corresponding entries to these numbers will win the major prize.

4. Entry
Entry is open to all Australian residents 18 years and over.
5. Promoter’s Decision
The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize package is non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed as cash.
6. Unclaimed Prizes
In the event that one of the winners is unable to redeem any component of the prize by the prize fulfilment date stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor another prize will be awarded in lieu of the forfeited component/s of the prize.
In the event that the winner forfeits the entire prize or provides contact information that is invalid or is unable to be contacted for any other reason by 09.59am AEST Monday 16th December 2013, a re-draw will occur on Monday 16th December 2013 at 10.00am AEST. 7. Entry Restrictions
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families together with agencies and/or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family refers to spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent). Entries that are deemed to be inaudible, incomprehensible, unable to be viewed, or deemed to be offensive or illegal by the promoter will also be ineligible. Entries not completed in accordance with the Conditions of Entry or received after close of entry will not be considered. Incomplete or inaudible entries will be disregarded.
8. Facebook
The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using Facebook. The competition however, is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability.
9. Promoter’s Liability
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained by the prizes or in connection with any other prizes. The promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality / suitability / merchantability of any of the goods/ services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the promoter associated agencies and its contractors are not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its contractors, servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the winner. The promoter does not now, nor will ever sell or rent any personal information that you share with them and their affiliate sponsors or partners.
10. Communication Failure
The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for email transmission issues which may delay notification to prize winners.
11. External Intervention limit
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions. Should these circumstances effect the Promoter being able to proceed with the competition, the relevant state legislative authorities will be consulted in advance. No changes to the terms and conditions will be made without first consulting the relevant regulatory authorities.
12. Promoter’s Responsibilities
The Promoters and their associated agencies assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
13. Promoter’s Rights
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. Should the Promoter be unable to proceed with the competition, the relevant state legislative authorities will be consulted in advance. No changes to the terms and conditions will be made without first consulting the relevant regulatory authorities.
14. Promoter’s Liability
The Promoter and their associated agencies, companies and contractors will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
• during the draw;
• whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the draw; or in the participation in any prize;
• as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected email;
• due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
• in relation to failure of an email entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
• Arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
