Prize information
The Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation art union raffle "Live your Dream" is licensed under their Art Union Licence # 65537. A maximum of 60,000 tickets will be sold at $2.00 each both electronically and hard copy tickets with the support of Freemasons Queensland.
All funds raised from the art union will be directed to the Paediatric Playground Project that is to be built in the Paediatric Ward at the Cairns Hospital.
Eligibility to enter
Entry is restricted to Australian and New Zealand residents, 18 years of age and over (as of 7 December 2013). Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation managers, board members and staff directly associated with the art union are excluded from entering, as are their immediate family members (i.e. spouses and other family members who share the same residence). "Immediate family", for a person, means the person's spouse and family members residing at the same premises as the person.
The "Live Your Dream" Art Union will close at 11.59 pm (AEST) on 30 November 2013 and will be drawn at 7.00pm (AEST) on 7 December 2013. The prize consists of a choice of one of five tour packages (listed below) for two persons. Valued at $24,000, the prize includes return airfares from Sydney, plus accommodation and extras as specified in each package (excluding travel insurance). View package details at
www.fnqhf.org.au. The winner will be notified by phone on 7/12/13 and advertised in the Public Notices section of The Cairns Post on 10/12/13; The Australian on 10/12/13 and The Sunday Mail on 15/12/13.
The winner must SELECT their package of choice by 15/12/13. Bookings dates can be provided at a later date but the winner must read their relevant prize terms and conditions below as they differ slightly for each prize.
The period for claiming the prize AND booking the prize is one year from the day the prize winner is decided. If the prize is not claimed within one year Far North Queensland hospital Foundation may apply the prize or its sale proceeds to its purposes.

The prize will be mailed to the winner's nominated mailing address by registered mail within 1 month after the draw date or by mutual arrangement should the winner nominate to claim their prize voucher in person from the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation located at the Ground Floor of the Cairns Hospital Car Park Building, Block E, Corner of Grove and Digger Streets, Cairns Qld 4870.
The above does not apply if the prize winner agrees in writing that the prize may be delivered more than 1 month after the winners are decided; or if after making all reasonable efforts, the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation cannot locate the winner of the prize.
Tour packages are provided exclusively to the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation through Mitch-Stuart Destinations of Excellence and prizes are not negotiable.
