PANASONIC REMOTE RECORD PROMOTION - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Panasonic Remote Record promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion involving Panasonic products.
The Promotion begins at 9:00am AEDST on 28/10/2013 and ends at 11:59pm AEDST on 19/01/2014 (“Promotion Period”).
This Promotion is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and above. Purchases for and in the name of trusts, companies, businesses, commercial or residential developers/developments and purchases by builders, subcontractors, installers and resellers are not eligible. Purchases made on behalf of educational institutions, hospitals, fundraisers and government departments or organisations of a similar kind are also classed as purchases for a business and therefore not eligible (“Excluded Transaction”). Lay-bys not paid in full by 19/01/2014 and short-term rental transaction contracts of less than 24 months are excluded from this offer (also, an “Excluded Transaction”).
Employees and directors of the Promoter, the Promoter’s related companies or any agencies involved in this Promotion, and the immediate families of each of those persons are ineligible to participate in this Promotion.
There are two (2) components to this Promotion, the major prize draw component (“Major Prize Draw”) and the daily draw component (“Daily Prize Draw”).

MAJOR PRIZE DRAW COMPONENT

To be eligible to enter the Major Prize Draw component of this Promotion entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit www.panasonic.com.au/win, click on the “Remote Challenge” icon, input the requested details and follow the instructions provided to take the online challenge. The online challenge involves the answering of six (6) questions. Once the challenge is completed entrants will be required to submit the fully completed online entry form to receive one (1) automatic entry into the Major Prize Draw component.
Only one (1) entry permitted into the Major Prize Draw component per person via the above mechanic. For the removal of doubt an entrant may only complete the online challenge once. Additional entries into the Major Prize Draw component are available via entry into the Daily Prize Draw Component, as set out in Clause 17.
The Major Prize Draw will take place at Engaging Communications, 66 Clark Road, North Sydney, NSW 2060 on 20/01/2014 at 10:00am AEDST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the Major Prize Draw and their name will be published online at www.facebook.com/panasonicaustralia from 03/02/2014.
The first valid entry drawn from all entries received in the Major Prize Draw component will win a trip for two (2) adults to Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa, Blue Mountains, NSW valued at up to $10,500 depending on date and point of departure (“Major Prize”). Major Prize includes:

Two (2) x return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to Sydney, NSW (only provided if winner resides outside of NSW);
Return private helicopter transfers from Sydney, NSW airport to Wolgan Valley, Blue Mountains for two (2) adults;
Four (4) x nights twin share luxury accommodation at Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa (or similar);
Gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinner daily for two (2) adults;
All non-alcoholic beverages; a selected range of alcoholic beverages with meals
Two (2) x on-site nature based activities (per person) daily; and
One (1) x 60 minute massage at Timeless Spa per person.
If the winner is not from NSW, the Major Prize also includes return economy airfares from the winner's nearest capital city to Sydney, NSW. If the winner is from NSW, then the Major Prize does not include airfares and the airfare component of the Major Prize is not redeemable for cash (excluding the helicopter transfers).
Spending money, additional meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Major Prize must be taken by 28/02/2015, is subject to booking, flight availability and maybe dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with accommodation partner. Block out dates includes all Australian school & public holiday periods including any special event periods. Bookings need to be made a minimum of 30 days prior to travel. All bookings and documentation regarding the prize must be made via Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents. Redeeming the prize is conditional on acceptance of the terms and conditions of travel as detailed by Free-2-Travel. Winner is responsible for any amendments fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed.
Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Major Prize. Major Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
If for any reason the winner does not take the Major Prize (or an element of the Major Prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter (including, subject to the terms and conditions of participating prize providers, where that element of the prize has been booked), then the Major Prize (or that element of the Major Prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

DAILY PRIZE DRAW COMPONENT

To be eligible to enter the Daily Prize Draw component and receive ten (10) entries into the Major Prize Draw component entrants must first purchase and pay in full for any participating Panasonic Blu-ray™ Recorder, as specified below, from an authorised Panasonic participating retailer during the Promotion Period.

Stock in each participating retailer is subject to availability and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to check stock availability with the authorised participating Panasonic retailer.

Purchases of any Participating Product via eBay or similar online third party Internet websites are excluded from this Promotion (“Excluded Purchase”). The Promoter at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse any entry for any Excluded Purchase.
Entrants who purchase a Participating Product (except where part of an Excluded Transaction or an Excluded Purchase) during the Promotion Period are entitled to enter the Daily Prize Draw component.
To enter the Daily Prize Draw component and be awarded ten (10) entries into the Major Prize Draw component, entrants must register their purchase of a Participating Product during the Promotional Period. To register a purchase of a Participating Product, entrants must visit www.panasonic.com.au/win, click on the “Already Purchased” icon, input the requested details, including their full name, postal address, valid email address, serial number and model number from their Participating Product purchased, as well as the store of purchase, the name of the sales staff member and date of purchase and then submit the fully completed online registration form. Once an entrant has registered a purchase of a Participating Product the entrant will be awarded one (1) entry into the relevant Daily Prize Draw and ten (10) entries into the Major Prize Draw component.
Multiple entries, in the Daily Draw component are permitted, however only one (1) entry into the relevant Daily Draw is permitted per Participating Product purchased and registered. Multiple entries into the Major Prize Draw component are also permitted for those entrants who submit a valid entry into the Daily Prize Draw component, however only ten (10) entries into the Major Prize Draw are permitted per Participating Product purchased and registered. Each Participating Product must be registered separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt/tax invoice for all entries, where a Participating Product was purchased and registered (in accordance with Clause 17 above), as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
There will be one (1) draw conducted for the entries received each day of the Promotional Period, for a total of eighty-four (84) draws (“Daily Draws”). Entries into each Daily Draw will open at 12:01am and close at 11:59pm each day based on Sydney local time (except for the first Daily Draw, which opens at 9:00am). GENERAL

The Promoter's decision is final on all matters in this Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter reserves the right to contact the participating stores and the customer to determine when the Participating Products are delivered by the participating retail outlet in Australia. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The total prize pool is valued at up to $69,216.00. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as or redeemed for cash.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
A draw for the Major Prize, if unclaimed, may take place at 10.00am on 22/04/2014 at the same place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner, if one is required, will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their name will be published online at www.facebook.com/panasonicaustralia  from 28/04/2014.
A draw, for any unclaimed Daily Prizes may take place at 10:00am on 22/04/2014 at the same place as the original draws, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any are required, will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their names will be published online at www.facebook.com/panasonicaustralia  from 28/04/2014.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
