A bit about the Fastlane Racing Drivers School...
The Fastlane Racing Drivers School course runs over a half day. You can book either a morning session or an afternoon session and is completed in Formula Ford racing cars.
The introduction is all about becoming familiar with the 110 horsepower single seat Formula Ford Racing Cars. A theory session is held where important concepts such as gear changing, braking points and racing lines are thoroughly discussed. After this, the participants are taken around the circuit in a road car to get an idea of the track and learn the corners getting behind the wheel.
The first "in-car" session involves touring around the track at a mederate pace for 8 laps. This allows participants to properly understand the racing line and get used to the
heel-and-toe" gear shifting procedure.
Following the pace car session is free practice; a time during which the participants can complete laps and hone their skills without the pressure of the stopwatch. Now its time for timing. Participants pit their skills against the watch during the 6 lap session while their lap times get recorded back in the pits.
After the timing session, its time to race. Each participant has another six laps to better their previous results. The fastest four laps are averaged to give drivers a race time, through which final results are decided. Just like a real race, a spin put a driver out of the race.
The day ends with a presentation of participants lap times and there is a trohpy presented to the driver with th ebest average lap time during the race. Each participant leaves having had the thrill of a lifetime, and the perfect baseis for applying for a racing license and kick-starting a career in motorsport. Click here for info

The following Terms & Conditions apply for the Redfm and Fastlane Racing half day racing give away to be run on-air between Friday, 1st November 2013 and Tuesday 31st December 2013.
This Promotion will have two (2) x winners, both announced 10th January 2014 at 10am.

Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the radio promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 and over. Photo identification and bank account details will be required for collection of the prize (if necessary and requested by the Promoter).
Employees of REDWAVE MEDIA PTY LTD, WEST AUSTRALIAN NEWSPAPERS LTD GROUP and their subsidiaries and immediate families, other ASSOCIATED SPONSORS and their immediate families, agents, sponsors or any persons connected with devising or promotion of this competition are ineligible to enter.
METHOD OF ENTRY
This is a competition of chance that gives listeners the opportunity to go into the draw for two (2) major prize winners in December. Listeners are directed to go to our website
www.redfm.com.au and complete the entry form.
Online entries are the only form of entry accepted for this competition.
Entries will only be accepted through the online mechanism until 6am on Tuesday, 31st December 2013.
Entrants must be over the age of 18 years to be eligible to enter.
Each online entrant can enter their details once per day for the duration of the promotion.
Listeners who enter the competition agree to Redfm using their contact details for an indefinite period for the purposes of promotional purposes.

PRIZE DRAW
The prize winners will be selected by a random number generator from the list of entrants.
The judge’s decision is final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.

2. One (1) voucher will be given away to Two (2) separate winners on 10th January 2014.
3. Winners will be chosen with a random number generator in an excel spreadsheet.
4. This prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable, cannot be sold and must be taken as supplied.
5. All Prize winners must be over 18 and copies of identification may be requested to verify age.
6. The winner must be in Perth to be able to redeem the prize. No transport will be provided to the venue.
USE OF PHOTOS etc
All contestants acknowledge that it is a condition of entry that REDFM has the right to publicise their names, characters, likeness or voices for any promotion or matter incidental to the competition. The winner may also be required by REDFM to participate in a photo, video and/or film session and acknowledges that REDFM has the right to use such publicity photos, video and/or films in any medium/website and in any reasonable manner it sees fit.
It is a condition of entering this competition that contestants consent to their telephone and other conversations with REDFM being broadcast on air.
INDEMNITY
All contestants release from and indemnify REDFM and REDWAVE MEDIA PTY LTD (ACN 083 553 860), against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in this competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury, accident or death and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to any negligent act or omission or otherwise.
The Promoter and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion.
MISCELLANEOUS
The Major Prize winner will be contacted via telephone to redeem their prize. The Promoter will make every attempt to contact the winner; if however a winner is not contactable on the phone number provided on their entry coupon by the Tuesday after their name has been drawn, the winner will be sent a letter. If the winner doesn’t contact the promoter within a week of the date of this letter being sent, the winner will forfeit their prize.
REDFM reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions at any time throughout the promotion.
REDFM and REDWAVE MEDIA PTY LTD will not be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided.
In all matters, all decisions of REDFM staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who the Promoter believes has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct. The Promoter has legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.
The Promoter’s decision is final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter also reserves the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
