The Music, Melbourne + Me; 40 Years of Mushroom and Melbourne’s Music Culture exhibition has been wowing Triple M listeners since it opened at RMIT Gallery Melbourne in November.
Music, Melbourne + Me celebrates not only Mushroom’s 40th anniversary but also the last four decades of Melbourne’s vibrant music scene represented here through songs, posters, photographs, costumes and much more.. The exhibition features stacks of stuff from the Mushroom Group’s vaults, plus a number of pieces from the personal collections of Michael Gudinski, Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum, Kylie Minogue, Skyhooks, Split Enz and Crowded House never before seen in public. Over five rooms of amazing Melbourne music memorabilia dating back from 1970 through to now. Music, Melbourne + Me is FREE to get in and is open till February 22nd @ RMIT Gallery.
