Bicycle Queensland’s annual Cycle Queensland nine-day ride starts in Agnes Water on Saturday, September 6, with cyclists pedalling via Seventeen Seventy, Rosedale, Bargara, Childers, Biggenden, Widgee and Cooroy before finishing at Coolum Beach on Sunday, September 14. Cycle Queensland 2014 is part holiday and part adventure. A dedicated support crew takes care of meals, transporting luggage and navigating, leaving cyclists free to just enjoy a recreational ride. Each night, riders stay in the Cycle Queensland campsite and enjoy facilities such as hot showers, a bar, coffee vendor, tourist information desk, nightly entertainment and more.
Bicycle Queensland and The Road Ahead are giving one lucky RACQ member the chance to win their own cycling holiday, valued at more than $3500. The prize includes Cycle Queensland 2014 entry for two adults, an Easy Campese tent package, two Cycle Queensland 2014 jerseys and other Cycle Queensland 2014 merchandise, $50 worth of café tokens and charter bus transport from Brisbane to Agnes Water and return.
