With more than a million viewers on average each week, the third season of Logie® award-winning Australian TV drama, House Husbands, is available to own on DVD from September 18, 2014. The new season boasts a sensational guest cast including: Rachel Griffiths (Golden Globe® nominee for Brothers and Sisters), Lincoln Lewis (Underbelly: Razor, Gallipoli) and Darren McMullen (The Voice). The much-loved franchise has also already been renewed for a fourth season.
Over Season 3 our House Husbands will accidentally buy a struggling pub and transform it into a thriving, family friendly business, form a footy team and perform at their kids’ ballet recital, go shopping for crop tops, accidentally break the Assistant Principal’s tooth, negotiate the politics of dealing with friends who have split up, have their nude portrait painted and get chased down the street by a pack of cricket bat-wielding thugs.
New characters cause tension and unsettle seemingly solid relationships, with mysterious newcomer Ned (Lincoln Lewis) dividing the close-knit families with his shady past. Lewis’s (Gary Sweet) past will come back to haunt him in the form of his ex-wife Belle (Rachel Griffiths), with shocking secrets revealed and dangerous temptation testing his marriage with Gemma (Julia Morris). Mark (Rhys Muldoon) and Abi (Natalie Saleeba) find themselves juggling both family and career adjustments since the birth of their daughter. Meanwhile Justin (Firass Dirani) has found well-deserved love with Lucy (Anna McGahan), but she is feeling the pressure to step up to the role as mother to Justin’s three kids. And Kane (Gyton Grantley) finds himself back in the dating world with new man, Alex (Darren McMullen).
Despite what life throws at them, the four men and their families come up fighting, even if they struggle to pull off a ballet bun.
