We’re sorry to burst everyone’s bubble but sometimes technology can be a bad thing (except for us because we only ever use it to search cat memes or generate our Wu-Tang name). But cyber bullying, infidelity and being addicted to Angry Birds is no joke. Men, Women & Children sheds scary and all-too-familiar light on how the Internet has reconfigured our lives for better and worse. Directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air) and starring Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Judy Greer, and a heap of fresh talent, it goes into the lives of teenagers and their parents as they navigate new boundaries with a range of high-tech devices that have none.

Men, Women & Children follows the story of a group of high school teenagers and their parents as they attempt to navigate the many ways the internet has changed their relationships, their communication, their self-image, and their love lives. The film attempts to stare down social issues such as video game culture, anorexia, infidelity, fame hunting, and the proliferation of illicit material on the Internet. As each character and each relationship is tested, we are shown the variety of roads people choose – some tragic, some hopeful – as it becomes clear that no one is immune to this enormous social change that has come through our phones, our tablets, and our computers.

To win 1 of 20 double passes to see Men, Women & Children, simply tell us in 25 words or less, “What has been your biggest social media faux pas?”
