In 25 words or less, tell us in what innovative way you have used Post-it® Notes?T&C's This competition (the "Promotion") is conducted and administered by Staples Australia Pty Ltd, Level 5, 163 O’Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020 (ABN 94 000 728 398) (the "Promoter").
Entry to the promotion shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
Entry is open to all Australian residents over the age of 18 except employees and immediate families of the Promoter or 3M Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 90 000 100 096) and any related entities or agents of them.
The Promotion runs from 3pm (AEST) on 11 April 2016
to 5pm (AEST) on 15 May 2016 ("Promotional Period"). No entries received later than 5pm (AEST) on 15 May 2016 will be accepted.
Entry into the Promotion
To enter, you must during the Promotional Period:
Be a visitor of the Staples.com.au website and visit the staples.com.au/page/3mtedx16 page; and
Complete the entry form and provide an answer to the promotion question: "In 25 words or less, tell us in what innovative way you have used Post-it® Notes?"
By participating in this promotion, you agree to opt-in to receive future email marketing communications and promotions from Staples Australia Pty Ltd.
The Promoter may disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct which places the fair and proper conduct of the competition at risk.
The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction of any communications network or any lost, late, delayed, ineligible, incomplete or corrupted entries, however this may happen.
Details of Determining Winners
This is a game of skill.
Entries will be judged on 50% creativity and 50% written expression.
There will be one (1) major prize winner and five (5) secondary prize winners.
There is no limit of entries per person but if an entrant is declared a winner of either prize they will receive only one (1) prize.Details of Prizes and Draw
The major prize consists of a double pass (2 tickets) to TEDxSydney on 25 May 2016, valued at AUD$350.00 each ("Major Prize").
The total prize value of the Major Prize is AUD$700.00.
The secondary prize consists of:
3 x 3M Super Sticky Post It Notes gift packs with a RRP Value of $180;
2 x $100 Gift vouchers for use exclusively on Staples.com.au ("Secondary Prize").
Each secondary prize winner will win one of these five prizes.
The total prize value of the Secondary Prize is AUD$740.00.
The total RRP of the prize pool is AUD$1,440.00. Winners will be determined on 16 May 2016 at 3pm in the office of Staples Australia Pty Ltd, Level 5, 163 O’Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020, Australia.
The Major Prize winner and Secondary Prize winners will be notified on 16 May 2016 via email. They will be required to send their contact details and postal address by return email.
General Prize Details
In the event that the Major Prize is not claimed by 12 noon on 18 May 2016, an unclaimed Major Prize draw will take place at 3pm on 18 May 2016 in the office of Staples Australia Pty Ltd, Level 5, 163 O’Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020 Australia.
Any element of the prize(s) is not to be resold for cash or profit in any way.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash from the Promoter. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited on expiry.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize(s) at the time stipulated then that element of the prize(s) will be forfeited by the winner/s and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize(s).
If the prize(s) is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it for a prize of equal or greater value.
Valuations of prize components are based on RRP and rates available at time of entry. Total prize value will not be affected by any change in rates during the promotion.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage or for personal injury suffered or sustained by the taking of the prize(s) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
If the Promoter is unable to contact the Major Prize winner for the purposes of distributing the prize, that winner will forfeit the prize entirely and it shall be awarded to the next selected winner in the Promotion. The Promoter will not be liable where a winner forfeits their prize.
Winners of the $100 giftvoucher must be registered with Staples.com.au. Coupon code is one time use only and not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Privacy
The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at
http://www.staples.com.au/page/privacy. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt-out, access, update or correct their PI.
In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages.
