In celebration of Mental Health Week, Sydney Local Health District is running a Photography Competition. The competition is open to all mental health carers, consumers, inpatients and anybody with a lived experience of mental illness residing in the state of NSW and Sydney Local Health District staff.
Theme: 'Inspiration'
We are seeking photographs that portray inspirational things in your life, particularly things that inspire you to live well. It could be place that is inspirational to you, a person who inspires you or perhaps a moment in your life that make you feel inspired. We also want you to tell us about your inspirational thing in a few words and submit a photograph with a title and description that captures your idea.
Exhibition
A selection of the best photographs will be displayed in the foyer of the Professor Marie Bashir Centre from Monday the 9th October 2017 till Friday 13th October 2017.
Awards
There will be first, second and third prize winner awards, a staff award and a technical award. There will be honourable mentions along with certificates for the works of merit too. Only Sydney Local Health District staff will be eligible to compete for the staff award and no other awards. The technical award will be open for all participants.
Submission Details
Closing date for submissions is midnight Saturday 30th September 2017. Entrants can submit up to 3 photographs. Please read terms and conditions for further details. Entry is free
