The Fabulous Ladies Wine Society was initially launched in May 2012 to put the fun and femininity back into wine. It also initiated the Australian Women in Wine Awards, recognising the many dedicated winemakers, vignerons and other wine women around the country.
Now the Society's dynamic founder Jane Thomson has written a fabulous (or course!) book about Australian women who make wine and those who love it and we have three copies of The Fabulous Ladies' Guide to Wine to be won!
Few books about wine cater specifically for the female wine drinker but that is this book's core purpose in life. It's a fun and informative read on one of our favourite beverages, beautifully presented through 260 pages with a gorgeous glossy design.
The Fabulous Ladies' Guide to Wine has a strong focus on female wine producers and features the stories behind some of the country's best winemakers, who also happen to be women. Along with their tales of life amongst the vines and vats, each one also shares a special recipe from the family vault and recommends a wine to try with it.
