How good is this!! Jon and Con Lioulios from the awesome family owned Virginian distillery, 36 Short have given me a a trio pack of their hand crafted small batch GIN to give away. Their spirits are made on the plains of Virginia, South Australia, and started with Adelaide’s first locally produced Rakia, using a secret recipe handed down from father to son over three generations. These guys are multi award winners, having recently taken out 5 medals in the San Francisco World Spirits award for their range! Geez we love hearing news like this for SA. The full 36 Short range includes Gold and White Rakia, Blood Orange Gin, Original Gin, Barrel Aged Gin, Rhubarb Gin and their latest addition Blood Orange Vodka. YUM!!!
Side note - the name “36 Short” was created as a legacy for Jon and Con’s dad, Pando, who founded the distillery. And the name? Well 36 Short was his suit size!!!! Love it!!!
