My fab thing is remembering my massive surprise when WILD CHICORY was reviewed in some major newspapers with the words: ‘Why can’t more people write like this?’ I still don’t quite believe that happened, but the memory makes me smile every time, and I often wonder if the lovely reviewer, Frank O’Shea, knows just how much he changed my world with his words.
