Patrick Roberts has been entertaining audiences for over 25 years and this year sees him pay tribute to the world’s most influential band of all time – The Beatles. ‘Imagine’, his 7th studio album, features Julian Lennon and Tommy Emmanuel.
‘Imagine’ the album features many of The Beatles classic rock songs performed on classical violin with an outpouring of emotion. A special version of ‘Saltwater’ by Julian Lennon (vocal mixed & co produced by Nuno Bettencourt) is also included to renew awareness and inspire action surrounding environmental issues, in the spirit of the original recording. Julian, who was also the direct inspiration for ‘Hey Jude’ (also on this record), and Tommy Emmanuel re-recorded the song especially for this record and also to support Julian’s charity The White Feather Foundation in their mission to Conserve Life by supporting causes that address the environment, education/health, clean water and the preservation of Indigenous cultures – listen here
