Reel Kitchen is one of Perth’s hottest new restaurants to open, overlooking the Swan River at the new DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront. Head Chef Mohammed Musaddiq has developed a menu which focusses on fresh seasonal produce and Western Australian seafood.

With the hotel recently opening on 15 December 2020, dining on the waterfront at Reel Kitchen has been a favoured romantic date night spot and the feedback to date has been centred around the fresh quality of all the dishes. The extensive wine list also has a vast selection of Western Australian wines, which can be enjoyed with uninterrupted Swan River views.

Musaddiq’s signature dish takes four days to prepare and demonstrates his commitment to a well thought out menu. Available from Reel Kitchen and 18 Knots it is Flamed grilled chicken cured in chili citrus served with capsicum purée, baby cos lettuce, jalapeño and beets.

Feedback so far has also favoured the Grilled Octopus with roast capsicum purée, Freshly grilled barramundi, macadamia & herb crust, golden beets, asparagus and lemon oil and Gold band snapper, curried pumpkin, leek, mussels and chervil.
