If you haven’t heard, lipoedema treatment and surgery isn’t recognised by Medicare so the surgeries, tests, treatments and compression garments are very expensive with no rebate at all whatsoever. I need almost $30,000 to overcome this and to be able to get on with my life which has been extremely hard to come to terms with, along with just dealing with the diagnosis of lipoedema.
