General

Entry into the draw
From 01 July 2021 to 31 July 2021, people who are approved for a loan with Jacaranda Finance are automatically entered into the competition once they have accepted their contract and have funds in their account.
To be eligible for a loan, entrants must be 18 years of age or older, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, have online access to a bank showing a minimum of 90 days income, have a mobile number, and have an email address.
Employees of Jacaranda Finance, as well as their immediate families of the promoter and related companies, are excluded from this promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
When to enter
Promotion commences on 01 July 2021 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 July 2021 (promotion period). Entrants must apply for a loan within this time period, accept their contract and have funds deposited into their bank account to be entered into this competition. The time of entry will, in each case, be the time the loan is applied for. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
How to enter
Entrants may enter the competition by applying for a loan at Jacaranda Finance through the promotional website
https://www.jacarandafinance.com.au/ Applicants will be required to provide a personal bank account showing a minimum of 90 days income. If applicants receive Centrelink benefits, they will need to provide a copy of their Centrelink statements. Any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid unless the entrant requires the assistance of a third party to enter due to a disability. The winning loan applicant must be up to date on their loan repayments.
Number of entries permitted
The entrant is entered into the competition as many times as they are approved for loans with Jacaranda Finance in the promotion period.
Prize on offer
Prize pool: there are four iPhone 12 Pros available to be won by an entrant. A winner will be drawn each week, meaning that four separate people will win an iPhone 12 Pro. Once a person has won a prize, they are automatically removed from the pool of potential winners. Meaning, a person is only eligible to win one iPhone 12 Pro, and will not be drawn from the pool of entrants more than once. The prize is not transferable in any way. Meaning, the colour cannot be changed, the type of iPhone, or any other aspects about the prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Liability for any tax arising out of participation in this promotion (including acceptance of a prize) is the sole responsibility of the entrant. Entrants should seek independent financial advice in this regard.
Notifications
The winners will be announced, in succession, on the following dates: 15 July 2021, 22 July 2021, 29 July 2021, and 5 August 2021. Promoter’s decisions are final, and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence. The winner will be notified by phone and email within 24 hours of the prize being drawn. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
Prize conditions
The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or any of the publications on which it is advertised. Any prizes not claimed within one year of the drawing will be awarded to another random winner. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Privacy
The Promoter collects applicants personal information in order to contact them to provide them with a loan. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. The applicant’s personal information will be protected and won’t be divulged to anyone other than the applicant.
