HAS your family got out their Christmas tree and begun decorating it yet? Here’s a story about some Aussie animals who want to decorate their tree!
From high in his tree, Possum is drawn to the sight of a distant tree covered in sparkling trinkets. It’s a Christmas tree, Kookaburra tells him.
So begins a quest in which Possum and his crafty crew of helpers try very hard to decorate their very own Christmas gum tree from Bowerbird’s treasure trove. But it’s not as easy as you might think!
This beautiful seasonal book An Aussie Christmas Tree Gum, which celebrates Australian flora and fauna through bright and appealing illustrations, is written by Jackie Hosking, illustrated by Nathaniel Eckstrom and published by Walker Books. To celebrate its release, Funday has 15 copies to give away.
