Here’s a little treat to celebrate the launch of Readings’ swish new shop.

Bookish pals: get on down to Emporium Melbourne, because iconic local bookshop Readings has opened a lovely new store. Overlooking Little Bourke St, the light-filled space has been designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects and features a mural by Kat Macleod, making it the perfect spot to host a bunch of events that are sure to please literary types.

The first event at the new store, on February 26, features national treasure Costa Georgiadis. That will be followed by International Women’s Day celebrations with author Eliza Reilly and a conversation with the authors of Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues 30 Years.
