3RRR Subscriber Film Screening - The Duke
Inspired by true events, THE DUKE is the story of Kempton Bunton, a 60-year old taxi driver, who stole Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London.
Led by two British greats, Jim Broadbent and Dame Helen Mirren and directed by the late Roger Michell, The Duke is a delightful art heist yarn that will steal your heart.
Set in working class, 1960’s London with a standout cast, the film’s central themes include the power of community, family and opportunity for all.
Official selection in Venice Film Festival 2020 and five star ratings from The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail and The Guardian. The Duke is showing in cinemas from March 31.
Triple R Presents a special subscriber-only screening of The Duke on Tuesday March 22 at Cinema Nova, Carlton. The film will be screened at 6.30pm. Winners full name and email will be provided to Cinema Nova to receive ticket and safety information.
