Join Ally and Brendan as they show off their ice skating, or lack of, skills at the Taronga on Ice, Sydney’s new open-air, pop-up ice rink. Whether you’re looking to find your flippers or just wanting to perfect your waddle, Taronga on Ice is great fun for skaters of all ages and skills.
Because Taronga Zoo is proudly not-for-profit, a spin around on the ice will not only gives you the chance to learn about the challenges facing Little Penguins in the wild but will also support the Zoo’s vital conservation efforts.

But Taronga on Ice isn’t just for the kids! Did you know little penguins mate for life? With a range of food stalls and a pop-up bar, plus adult only sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings, Taronga on Ice makes for the perfect date night with a difference.
Skating sessions run for 45 minutes giving you plenty of time to perfect your skills and are priced at $23 for children aged 5-15 years, $25.20 for concessions and $28 for adults. Children 2-4 years skate free with a paying adult. Taronga on Ice prices are in addition to daily zoo entry with combo pricing available.
