To commemorate the roles of carers everywhere the team behind Everybody’s OMA is hosting special screenings on September 21 at 7pm (AEST) with a virtual Q&A session afterwards.
Filmmaker Jason van Genderen was obsessed with making home videos about his elderly mother and, when he creates a supermarket at home during lockdown, he accidentally turned “Oma” into an internet celebrity. The family’s heartwarming home movies quickly attracted a worldwide audience of more than 100 million people.
Everybody’s OMA is an unforgettable story of a family that comes together while beautifully falling apart.
