Race Face recently launched their new ERA carbon crank set. The ERA replaces the Next R and brings a whole range of upgrades. The crank set has been completely redesigned, including all-new pedal inserts that are bonded directly to the carbon lay up. The result? Race Face reckon this stiffest, strongest and most durable carbon crank set they have ever produced – and they back that up with their new warranty.
The Race Face ERA crank set is designed for trail, all-mountain and enduro use, and comes in 165mm, 170mm and 175mm lengths. In a 170mm length the crank set weighs just 483g with a 32t chain ring – cool!
Race Face have added a stainless steel scuff plate to keep your cranks looking good, plus there are 7 colour options for the logos and 8 crank boot colours to make sure they match your ride.
As a modern crank, the Race Face ERA has a 176mm Q-Factor, and can work with 52mm or 55mm chain line – depending on what chain ring you choose.
