Innovative Resources is the publishing arm of Anglicare Victoria, and the home of strengths-based tools and training in Australia. Our range of over 60 conversation-building tools and resources focus on identifying, mobilising and celebrating people’s strengths as we believe they are the most powerful resources for change.
While our resources always focus on people’s strengths rather than their limitations, they don’t dodge the hard stuff. In fact, they are designed to support you to create safe spaces for challenging conversations. We have card sets on a range of difficult topics, including family violence, shame, eating disorders, anxiety, body signals and family breakdown.
Over the past 30 years, we have delivered strengths-based training nationally and internationally to thousands of human service workers, educators, parents, counsellors, psychologists and even whole organisations. While this training has morphed over time, from face-to-face to a range of in-person, online workshops, eLearning and blended delivery models, it is always highly interactive, practical and designed to support best practice in any setting.
