TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The following Terms and Conditions apply to the Travel Gateway – “Bass In the Grass Competition” (the Competition) run by Airport Development Group Pty Limited (ADG). By participating in the Competition, each Entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to these Terms and Conditions, including our exclusion of all liability. Any decisions made by ADG shall be final and binding in all respects.
1) Background
To promote the Top End as an event destination and support BASSINTHEGRASS event, ADG is launching a new online competition on travelgateway.com.au (Travel Gateway). ADG invite entrants to submit their contacts details to enter a random prize draw at the end of the competition.
2) Eligibility and timing
A. The Competition is open to all Australian permanent residents (an Entrant) over the age of 18.
B. An Entrant enters the Competition when they submit Content in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (an Entry). An Entrant may enter the Competition multiple times.
C. An Entry may only be made by the Entrant acting in their own capacity, and not on behalf of any other person or entity.
D. The Competition is not open to:
i. employees of, or contractors engaged by, ADG or its related bodies corporate;
ii. any immediate family member of a person covered by paragraph i, including de facto partners, spouses, children, parents or siblings.
E. The Competition commences on Saturday 29 April 2023 at 12:01AM and closes on Sunday 7 May 2023 at 11:59PM ACST (Competition Period).
3) Method of Entry
An Entry must comprise contact details of the Entrant (the Content) and that is submitted to the Competition using the Website method outlined below.
A. Entrants may submit their Entry by filling up the form hosted at the URL:
https://www.travelgateway.com.au/bassinthegrass. Contact information such as first name, last name, email address, phone number and postcode will be requested.
B. All Entries must be submitted within the Competition Period. Time of submission will be deemed to be the time that the Entry is published and visible to ADG in line with the relevant method of entry.
C. Submitted Content will only be deemed to be a valid Entry where it complies with these Terms and Conditions.
4) Winner
A. Valid Entries will enter the random draw, processed by employees of ADG on Monday 8th of May 2023.
B. The Winners will win a VIP experience for 2 including:
One (1) economy flight ticket for two (2) adults from one top cities (Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Alice Springs)
One (1) room for one (1) night accommodation in Darwin for 2 adults
Two (2) BASSINTHEGRASS LA COCO tickets including:
Fast track entry tickets for 2 adults
A chance to watch your favourite act side of stage
VIP bar, toilets and shaded seating areas with stage view
Complimentary drinks (x6)
Two (2) $15 food voucher to spend at the Mindil Beach Sunset Market food stall
Two (2) Bass Stubby Cooler
C. The return tickets are for direct flights between one of the 6 cities (Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Alice Springs) to Darwin International.
D. Airline will be selected based on availability and cost. The return tickets cannot exceed a value of $3,500 (including GST).
E. Travel must be done between Saturday 20th May and Sunday 21st of May 2023.
F. These tickets are non-transferable, non- reroutable, non-refundable, non-redeemable in cash, non-frequent flyer point mileage accruable and subject to seat availability.
G. Travel under this agreement does not include visa costs, excess baggage charges, insurance, additional airport or hotel taxes.
H. Accommodation will be selected based on availability and cost. The night accommodation cannot exceed a value of $500 (including GST).
I.J. All travel arrangements including booking and confirmations are subject to availability and will be undertaken by Lisa Malnar.
K. Any changes of flights or accommodation by passenger will occur a cost not covered by TravelGateway or Lisa Malnar.
L. The Prize is valid for Bass In The Grass event, scheduled 20th of May 2023.
M. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-redeemable in cash, and subject to availability.
5) Notification and collection
A. The Winners will be announced on
https://www.travelgateway.com.au/bassinthegrass and social media.
B. ADG intend to announce the Winner at or around 6pm, Monday 8th of May 2023.
C. Winner will be notified via their email address. Each Entrant is responsible for ensuring that they are able to be contacted via this method.
D. Winner must claim their prize by acknowledging their win within 5 business days following the sending of the notification.
E. Eligibility for selection as a Winner or receipt of a Prize is conditional upon the Entrant’s compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
6) Liability
A. To the extent permitted by law, ADG and their related bodies corporate, and their respective contractors, employees, directors and officers, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss, or personal injury) suffered or sustained in connection with this Competition. However, we do not exclude our liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
B. The Entrant agrees to indemnify ADG, their related bodies corporate and any relevant contractors for any third-party intellectual property infringement claim made in relation to Content submitted by that Entrant in the Competition.
7) Privacy
A. Entrants who submit their Entries using the Website Method (outlined in section 3) above) acknowledge that any contact or other personal information provided in connection with their Entry may be used by ADG and its related bodies corporate for the purposes of direct marketing and the promotion of our products and services. Entrants may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.
B. Entrants in this Competition acknowledge that they have read and understand the privacy policy available at
https://www.travelgateway.com.au/privacy.
General
A. While ADG will endeavour to administer the Competition in accordance with the process outlined in these Terms and Conditions, failure by ADG to follow a given process will not nullify any Winner, Prize or other decision made by ADG.
B. ADG may engage a contractor to help perform some or all of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions. Any decision of a duly authorised contractor will be deemed to be the decision of ADG, unless determined otherwise by ADG itself.
C. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Northern Territory.
D. Entrants are responsible for any and all expenses incurred in connection with this Competition and under no circumstances will ADG reimburse an Entrant for any amount. We note that Entrants are not required to spend any money in order to be eligible for the Competition.
E. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions, or in the Competition itself, is intended to constitute or give rise to an employment or fiduciary relationship between ADG and any Entrant.
F. Entrants are responsible for their own safety and complying with all laws in participating in this Competition.
G. Entrant’s must not do anything that is likely to damage or adversely impact the reputation or brand of ADG or their related bodies corporate.
