The program(External link) connects Gold Coast residents and visitors to nature by providing activities for the community to explore, learn and ultimately conserve our City’s wonderful natural environment.
The program aims to:
connect the community with nature
provide free and low-cost nature-based educational activities
encourage an active and healthy lifestyle
encourage and promote sustainable nature-based recreation opportunities
deliver and encourage on-ground conservation actions
raise awareness of the environmental values of the Gold Coast
promote and support city wide conservation initiatives
