DETAILS OF PARTICIPATION
Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these details of participation and entry is deemed as acceptance of them. A purchase is necessary to enter the contest.
The promotion begins at 9:00am (AEST) on Tuesday 4th April 2023 and closes midnight Monday (AEST) on 31st July 2023.
Entries not received by Monday 31st July 2023 or not completed in accordance with these details of participation, will not be eligible to win.
The promoter is Workwear Discounts Pty Ltd ATF The Bernard Baz Family Trust trading as “Workwear Discounts” of 2/267a Margaret St, Toowoomba Queensland (Phone: 1300 720 366).
METHOD OF ENTRY
The general public may enter by purchasing a pair of Bata premium boots with a value of at least $119 [ inc GST ] in any single purchase from Workwear Discounts store located at 2/267a Margaret St Toowoomba QLD, Workwear Discounts store located at 4B Building F Domain Central 143 Duckworth St Garbutt QLD, or via the Workwear Discounts Online Store.
Value of the goods does not include freight, Bata socks, Bata non-premium boots or any other products except Bata premium boots.
Workwear Discounts customers who spend more than $119 on premium Bata boots (not including freight) in any single purchase are automatically entered.
All goods must be paid for in full before a customer can receive an entry. Goods purchased on account or under contract are not eligible for entry. Entry is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
WHO CAN ENTER
Entry is open only to Australian Residents, excluding South Australia, aged 18 years and over who submit an eligible entry.
Only one competition entry per purchase.
Employees of Workwear Discounts and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
If after the winner’s announcement a breach of eligibility is discovered, the prize will not be awarded.
If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry, subject to the written direction of any relevant authority. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the matter.
Results of a redraw will be published and displayed in the Workwear Discounts Toowoomba and Townsville stores and online on the Workwear Discounts Web Store.
PRIZE DETAILS
One winner who shops in our Toowoomba, Townsville or our Web Store will receive:
$500 AUD cash
All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to any insurance and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner, as incurred.
PRIZE DRAW
The prize will be drawn at Workwear Discounts Toowoomba from a 'virtual' barrel containing all valid entries at 6:00pm on Thursday 3rd August 2023.
There is only one (1) prize which will be drawn from one (1) round of draws, unless a redraw is required for invalid entries or unclaimed prizes.
The draw will be open to the public and will be independently scrutinised.
INDEMNITY
All contestants release from and indemnify Workwear Discounts and their staff against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition, Including [ but not limited to ] loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
Workwear Discounts reserves the right to alter the draw date and time in the event of any natural disaster or for any other unforeseen reason.
NOTIFICATION
The Prize Winner will be notified by telephone, email and text message on the day of the draw.
Notification of the winner’s details will be placed on notices placed prominently in the Toowoomba and Townsville stores and online via the Workwear Discounts Web Store within one day of the draw.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE
In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed within one day of the draw, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct such further draws at 5:00pm (AEST) on Friday 4th August 2021.
PROMOTION
By entering this competition the prize winner agrees to the use of their pictures, names and/or statements for future promotional purposes without payment or consideration.
By entering this competition, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter and its affiliates may use this information and/or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using Facebook and/or any other social media site(s). The competition however, is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability.

If an entrant retracts their consent during the promotional period the entrant will be no longer eligible to win.

Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter whose decision is final.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches even to the extent that such failure, loss, damage or injury may be caused by the negligence of the promoter.
If such problems arise, then the promoter [ where necessary with the approval of the relevant Gaming Authorities] may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
Any contact Workwear Discounts has with entrants may be monitored and/or recorded for training and/or compliance purposes. Please advise us at point of contact if you do not wish this to occur.
The Promoter reserves the right to block, prohibit or withdraw entries where that entry impairs the proper operation of the competition and/or the Promoter’s business.
Workwear Discounts accepts no responsibility or liability for any internet connection issues, website or technical issues, telecommunications interruptions, Drop-Outs and/or failure including equipment, computer viruses or otherwise, when using the Workwear Discounts website when entering the competition.
