Entry Restrictions Entrants must be 16 years of age or over.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age or
identification in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant
be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for
the prize.
If requested by the Promoter (in its sole discretion), entrants must sign
an indemnity and exclusion of liability form in order to be eligible to
win.
Entrants may only submit guesses on-air as specified in the Entry
Method in the Promoters absolute and sole discretion. Guesses
submitted in any other way will be deemed invalid, as determined by
the Promoter in the Promoters absolute and sole discretion.
The winner must provide details requested by the Promoter (or if the
winner is under 18 years of age, parent's or guardian's details) for the
prize to be provided by the Promoter.
Competition Period The promotion begins at 6:00am (AEST) on Monday 4th September,
2023 and ends by 7:00pm on Friday 22nd September, 2023.
Entry Method (a) At various times during the contesting period the Promoter will
solicit for listeners to call (02) 4226 9898 for their chance to
play ‘i98’s $20,000 Cash Tracks’.
(b) A representative of the Promoter may ask the caller a number
of random questions as determined by that representative in
their sole and absolute discretion (Entry). Each Entry will be
individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter
(Judges). The Judges will select a caller they deem to be the
‘best’ based on the Judging Criteria from all valid Entries
received within the time period specified. Callers will be ranked
based on the Judging Criteria and the best caller will be
selected to participate as a contestant (Contestant).
On-Air Game:
(a) The Contestant will be asked to identify a song by title and
artist as specified by the on-air announcer.
(b) The Contestant will have a certain time period in which to
identify the song which will be clearly recognizable by on-air
sound effects.
(c) As the song plays, cash amounts will be announced in a
descending order (eg, $500, $400, $300).
(d) The Contestant must say ‘STOP’ when they think they know the
title and artist of the song and before the timer runs out.
(e) If the Contestant identifies the title and artist of the song
correctly before the buzzer sounds, they will win cash to the
value of the last dollar amount announced on the audio prior
to the Contestant saying ‘STOP’.
(f) If the Contestant answers incorrectly, or does not answer in
the time allocated, the contestant will not be awarded any
prize.
(g) The Promoter may, at its discretion, broadcast clues regarding
the title and/or artist of the songs online (via the i98fm.com.au
website, Instagram or Facebook pages) or on-air.
(h) The Promoter’s decisions as to the outcome of each on-air
game are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Judging Criteria Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the
Promoter) based on, among other things, uniqueness, and appeal for
radio.
Maximum Number of
Entries
Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they wish,
however entrants may only win one prize each.
Prize Details There are up to ninety (90) prizes to be won, as follows:
(a) Various cash amounts ranging from $50 up to $10,000.
The prize will be deposited directly into the winner’s chosen bank
account, or if the winner is under 18 years of age, that winner's parent
or guardian's bank account (incl GST).
Total Prize Pool Up to $20,000 (incl GST)
Notification of Winners Winners can be notified:
- via telephone
- on air at the time of winning
Prize Claim Date and
Time
Bank details must be provided at least 60 days from prize being
awarded.
Prize Delivery The prize will be sent via electronic cash transfer through the relevant
winner’s chosen bank account, or if the winner is under 16 years of
age, that winner's parent or guardian's chosen bank account (incl GST).
Winners must allow 14 working days for the electronic cash transfer
