ONE WALK FLIGHT CENTRE GIVEAWAY
1. These terms and conditions (Terms) of entry, including information on how to participate and
prize details, apply to the promotion and entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms.
2. The promoter is JDRF Australia (ACN 002 286 553, ABN 40 002 286 553, DGR 042 753).
3. Entry is open to residents of Australia excluding:
a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the promoter, its related bodies
corporate, firms or companies associated with the promotion;
b) a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in
paragraph 3(a) of these Terms, and the persons referred to in paragraph 3(b) of these Terms
includes natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter).
The promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible entrant in its absolute
discretion.
4. The promotion is a game of chance.
5. The promotion begins at 12:01am AEST on September 20 2023 and ends at 11.59pm AEST on
October 1 2023.
6. To enter, participants must register for JDRF One Walk 2023 by the end of the promotion period
listed in paragraph 5.
7. Total prize pool is valued at $4000. Four winners will each receive a Flight Centre voucher valued
at $1000.
8. The entry mechanism is as follows:
a) Every person who has registered for JDRF One Walk 2023 before the end of the
promotion period listed at paragraph 5 will receive one entry.
b) Participants who register from 12:01am AEST on September 20 2023 until the promotion
end time will receive one bonus entry into the draw (two entries in total).
9. Participants can win a maximum of one prize.
10. The four winners will be chosen by computer generated selection as a game of chance.
11. The winners will be announced within 48 hours of the conclusion of the promotion period as
listed at paragraph 5 of these terms.
12. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The winners will be notified by email and have their name published on the website at
walk.jdrf.org.au.
14. The promoter will do its best to contact the winners. If a winner does not accept their prize
within four weeks, the promoter will select the next winner.
15. The promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner if it determines in its sole
discretion that a winner does not adequately satisfy these terms and conditions.
16. Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
17. The promoter and their promotional partners are not responsible for any loss or damage in
relation to the prize once it has been awarded.
18. If for any reason the promotion is incapable of being run as planned, including due to infection
by infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other
causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security,
fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its
absolute discretion to take any action that may be available to it, including cancelling, terminating,
modifying or suspending the promotion.
19. Any eligible entrant who, in the opinion of the promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry
mechanism in any way, engages in any unlawful or improper conduct which jeopardises or is likely to
jeopardise the fair or proper conduct of the promotion, or who does not properly comply with the
entry process, will be ineligible to receive a prize.
20. The promoter will use the personal information contained in your entry to conduct the
promotion and award the prize
