enter our free monthly competition for October – it's open now. This month’s overall winner will take home an A0 print on the winner's paper of choice (Canson brand paper 100% cotton rag in Matt or Satin finish) thanks to the team at NarreWarren Fine Art Printing and Framing.

At the end of each comp we will post the shortlist on Facebook where you can vote for your favourite images in the People's Choice prize! The People's Choice winner will receive a 12-month digital subscription to Australian Photography or Capture magazine.

    The competition is run by Yaffa Media Pty. Ltd. (ABN 54 002 699 354), 17-21 Bellevue Street, Surry Hills, Sydney.
    Employees of Yaffa Media Pty. Ltd., including staff and freelance contributors, are not permitted to enter.
    Each photographer retains copyright of his or her images, and proper credit lines will be attributed to each photographer when used in any publicity of Australian Photography. The entrant authorises Australian Photography magazine to display, print, and distribute in any manner any photographs entered in this competition to conduct and promote the competition.
    To win the competition and be eligible to receive a prize, you must be an Australian citizen or current Australian resident. Prizes will only be delivered within Australia.
    The entrant must be the copyright owner of any images he/she enters into the competition.
    Any post-production and editing must be the work of the entrant.
    All images must be wholly photographic in origin. Images created entirely or in part with the assistance of artificial intelligence, 3D, or illustration software may not be entered.
    The entrant is responsible for obtaining all relevant model and/or property releases.
    The entrant indemnifies Yaffa Media Pty. Ltd. against any claim, legal or otherwise, that may arise out of publication of the image.
    By entering the photograph into this competition the entrant guarantees to Yaffa Media Pty. Ltd. that the above entry requirements have been met.
    This is not a game of chance.
    The winner of the competition will be selected by the editor of australianphotography.com, or a person nominated by the editor. The judge's decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
    The prize can not be bartered and is not redeemable for cash.
