Find an item in a Vinnies QLD store with a golden ticket on it and present the item at the checkout during store opening hours from 9/11/23 until 11/11/23. We will remove the tag and give you the item for free. Not every Vinnies QLD store contains an item with a golden ticket.
Voucher Giveaway and Holiday Promotion
The prizes available in this promotion are:
• 18,900 x $5 Vinnies QLD vouchers, valued at an overall total of AU$94,500
• 1 x major prize of a holiday (described further below)
How to Enter
Enter by purchasing any item in a participating Vinnies QLD store (a store that is displaying the promotional materials) during the promotion period (during store opening hours from 9/11/23 until 11/11/23) and obtain a receipt. Then log on to
www.finderfest.com.au and complete the online form, including your receipt number and email address.
You will then be emailed a $5 Vinnies QLD voucher. A maximum of 1 voucher per person will be issued in a 24 hour period. Once the limit of 18,900 vouchers have been issued, the promotion will close and no further vouchers will be issued. vouchers are valid to use one time only, at any participating Vinnies QLD store from 13/11/23 to 10/12/23. A voucher can only be used in a transaction totalling $5 or more and only one voucher can be used in a single transaction. A voucher cannot be used on gift card sales or in conjunction with any other offer.
Major Prize
If you receive a voucher by email, you will also automatically be entered in a draw for the major prize. The total value of the major prize is AU$5,500, comprising of 1 x holiday package, which includes three nights accommodation for up to 4 guests in a Deluxe Double Room at Sea World Resort at the Gold Coast plus unlimited entry to Sea World, Movie World, Wet ‘n’ Wild and Paradise Country for the duration of the stay, valued at AU$1,500 and proudly donated by Village Roadshow Theme Parks, plus AU$4000 spending money.
The winner will receive a prize letter describing the terms and conditions, which include the following. The holiday accommodation is valid until 30/11/24 and is subject to availability. A $200 per night surcharge applies to bookings between the following dates and is to be paid direct to the hotel at the time of booking: 27 December 2023 – 15 January 2024. A surcharge of $100 per night will apply if used during Australian school holidays or Easter. No extension to the validity date of this prize will be permitted under any circumstances. Notice of intent to travel must be received by the resort by 31/10/24 and at least 30 days prior to the winner’s proposed travel dates. Accommodation and theme park access must be taken together and booked as one package. Any costs not expressly included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.
Major prize winner selection & notification
One name will be drawn at random from the voucher recipients at 2pm on 22/11/23, at 10 Merivale Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve names and to record them (in order drawn) in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn as a winner, or a winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize.
Winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of determination and will be provided with instructions which they must follow in order to verify their entry and claim their prize. Winners’ names will be published on
www.finderfest.com.au on 14/12/2024. The promoter’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email after the draws have taken place.
General
The promoter is St Vincent De Paul Queensland (ABN 14 211 506 904) of 10 Merivale Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101 (Vinnies QLD).
Participation is open to Queensland residents aged 18 years or older. Employees (and their immediate families) of Vinnies QLD and its subsidiaries and the employees of any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. When we say ‘immediate families’ we mean spouse (whether married or defacto), child, parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, sibling, niece, nephew or cousin.
No prize or voucher is transferable or exchangeable and they cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of consideration. The value of each prize is accurate as at the time of preparation of these Terms & Conditions. We accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize after that date. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, we may substitute it for another item of equal or higher value. If a winner does not take an element of a prize by the time stipulated by us, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. We accept no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if any prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.
We and our associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with Finderfest or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
We and our associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to or delay in delivery of prizes.
We accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

Any part of these Terms & Conditions which is void or not enforceable by law will be automatically severed from these Terms & Conditions, where possible, to ensure that the remaining provisions remain in effect. We may vary these Terms & Conditions from time to time as required for compliance with law or for the purposes of correcting any error or omission. As such, it is the responsibility of every entrant to ensure that they review these Terms & Conditions at the time of entry and all other material times.
These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and must be construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia, and their courts of appeal.
If requested, entrants and winners must participate free of charge in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding Finderfest or their winning of a prize, and they consent to us and our associated companies and agencies using their name and image in promotional material.
If for any reason any aspect of Finderfest does not or is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond our control which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then we may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend
