Terms and Conditions

    Purchase a new eligible comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policy (“Qualifying Policy”) through Coastline Credit Union (“Coastline”) and go into draw to win $1,000 (“Promotion”).
    The Promoter is Coastline, of 64 Elbow Street, West Kempsey NSW 2440, ABN 88 087 649 91 AFSL/ Australian Credit Licence 239175 (“Promoter”).
    Information on how to qualify for the Promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”).
    A QualifyingPolicy is a CGU comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
    The Offer is available from 9am, AEDT 30th November 2023 until 5pm AEST, 31st May 2024 (“Promotional Period”).0
    The total prize pool is $6,000
    The Promotion is only available in NSW and QLD
    To be eligible for the Promotion:
        entrants must be residents of NSW or QLD and aged 18 years or over;
        entrants must purchase a new Qualifying Policy through Coastline during the Promotional Period and do not cancel within the 21-day cooling off period;
        entrants must be an existing Coastline customer who holds an active Coastline Access or Pay As You Go account
        the Qualifying Policy must be either paid immediately in full or, if the Qualifying Policy is ‘pay-by the-month’, direct debit details must be provided to the Promotor; and
        The Qualifying Policy must be active at the time the cash back is provided.
        (“Eligible Participants”)
    If a policy was cancelled during the promotional period and a new policy covering the same asset was incepted shortly after it would not be considered for the Promotion.
    Directors, officers, management, and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter; and the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition are not eligible for the Promotion.
    Renewing policies are excluded from the Promotion.
    Eligible Participants will be automatically entered into the Promotion.Eligible Participants are taken to agree to the T&Cs. If an Eligible Participant does not agree to the T&Cs, or does not want to be entered into the Promotion, they are required to expressly inform the Promoter and will be disqualified from the Promotion.
    The first prize winner will be drawn at the registered office of Coastline, 64 Elbow Street, West Kempsey, NSW 2440 on 2nd January 2024 at 11am (AEDT) and the prize money will be deposited into an active Coastline account in the name of the prize winner within 60 days of the start date of the Qualifying Policy.
    A total of six draws will be conducted on the following dates:
        11am AEDT 2nd January 2024
        11am AEDT 2nd February 2024
        11am AEDT 1st March 2024
        11am AEDT 1st April 2024
        11am AEST 1st May 2024
        11am AEST 1st June 2024
    The Offer will be issued to the policy holder of the Qualifying Policy. If a Qualifying Policy insurance policy has two (2) or more policy holders, the first insured person will be issued the Offer.
    Winners will be contacted by phone and names posted on the Promoter’s social media pages.
    The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of eligible participants and to disqualify any participant that does not act in accordance with these T&Cs, including the cancelling and repurchasing of the same policy.
    The Promoter and its associated agencies are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion, the use of a reward or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the promoter, its associated agencies or any person associated with any of them, except to the extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.
    If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law to:
        disqualify any participant; or
        modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
