VEHL celebrate the release of their debut album Panthalassa with a vinyl launch party at the Bergy Bandroom, on Friday February 23.

VEHL is the new art-soul project from Matty Vehl (keyboardist with Bombay Royale/Cool Explosions). Written, arranged and produced by Matty Vehl, the launch party will debut the band assembled for the album - including the full, smouldering 4 piece saxophone section -sliding effortlessly between 1970’s analogue grooves, vintage snake-oil R&B and a pulsing, new millennia mesmerism.

Support comes from the deliriously easy rollin’ instrumental groove mavericks Marcel Borrack TD Band, and a rare performance from The Sugarfed Leopards very own sweethearts Steph and Dave, aka Sunday Darling. DJ sets from DJ Elle Young, with limited edition vinyl, t-shirts and badges of the Panthalassa album available on the night.
