I never met a clone I didn't like

You don't have to catch a fish to win a boat even though this is a fishing competition. Nor for the nightly lucky draws which include BBQs, eskies, rods, holidays, and a whole heap of other things. I'll get the biggest conditions out of the way early: you need to enter the competition, which is $195, and you need to be at Rainbow Beach Sports Club for each the nightly lucky draws, or for the ones you want to be a chance for. For example, on the final night - Saturday 8th June - a $35,000 boat package will be won by someone at the club who has a ticket. With all that said, the odds to win something at this fishing competition without so much as owning a rod are very favourable. My understanding is there have never been more than 500 tickets sold in the 38 years it's been going, and some people don't even stay for the final night because of other commitments. You might have heard events & festivals are struggling at the moment with numbers, this event is no different. Odds will likely be 30% to 40% better than past years, it seems, because ticket sales are down as things stand. If you can get to Rainbow Beach, I think it is worth what is essentially a $195 ticket even without baiting a single hook. If I could buy a ticket I would, but I can't because I'm involved in the event. This is a link for more information. I'm not sure if there's another spot I should put it, sorry https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1161732?
