$2000 Father’s Day Competition Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter and Prize details form part of these terms and conditions. By participating in the Competition, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. For entries to be valid, they must comply with these terms and conditions.
Entrant Eligibility
Persons aged 18 years and over who are residents of Cairns.
Entrants can only enter for themselves and not on behalf of another person.
Entrants will be deemed ineligible if they are employees of any tenancy in Mt Sheridan Plaza.
How to Enter
To enter, each entrant must complete an entry form available at the display in Centre Court and place it in the locked spinner barrel provided.
Competition Period
12 noon on August 1 – 12 noon on August 29, 2024.

General Terms & Conditions
Each entrant must comply with the above requirements regarding eligibility and entry.
No entry can be modified or removed once submitted.
By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the use of their personal information to conduct the Competition. All entries will be disposed of suitably once the Competition is deemed closed.
The Promoter will announce the winner by first name and surname initial only on social media once the winner has been contacted.
The winning entry will be the first eligible entry randomly selected by the Promoter from all entries submitted during the Competition Period.
Eligibility of entries is solely within the discretion of the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to:
a) request verification of the age, identity, residential address, or any other information relevant to participation in the Competition of all entrants,
b) disqualify any entrant who provides false information or fails to provide information reasonably requested by the Promoter,
c) in its sole discretion, to refuse to accept incomplete, incorrect, indecipherable, lost, late, damaged, false, or any entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.
The Promoter’s decision on the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to notify each winner to ensure that each winner receives their Prize.
If a winner cannot be reached within 2 business days or does not claim their Prize within 1 month of the draw, the Promoter may withdraw the Prize, or redraw a new winner.
The Promoter reserves the right to request a winner provide proof of identity and address.
The Promoter will provide the winner with instructions on how to claim their Prize. It is the responsibility of each winner to comply with the Promoter’s instructions.
Each Prize is not transferrable, exchangeable, or redeemable in cash.
If a Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater monetary value.
The Promoter will provide each winner with a Prize Form to sign upon Prize collection. The Prize must be collected in person from Mt Sheridan Plaza, with no Prize mailed or delivered.
Once the Prize has left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for the Prize being damaged, lost, stolen, or otherwise.
A winner’s use of a Prize is entirely at their own risk. When the Prize is awarded, the winner agrees to release the Promoter from and indemnify the Promoter against any liability arising from the winner’s acceptance and use of the Prize and the winner’s participation in the Competition.
The Promoter may ask the winner for their photograph with their Prize to share on social media. If so, no compensation will be given to the winner for using this photograph by the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to vary the terms of or cancel the Competition for any reason at any time without liability or notice to any entrant or other person.
Any Prize supplied by a third-party supplier is subject to the terms and conditions of that third-party supplier. Each Prize may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If those guarantees are not complied with, then you will have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those guarantees and rights, the Promoter shall not be liable and excludes all liability (including negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) for damage to property, personal injury, or death suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition or the use or taking of any Prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law including as provided for under the Australian Consumer Law. If the winner has any problem with the Prize, they will be directed to the retailer where the Prize was purchased.
