August – A scenic joyflight in a Tiger Moth

August’s Birthday Box Prize is sky high fun! The prize is a 30 minute scenic joyflight in a Tiger Moth over the beautiful Hunter Region thanks to Phil Unicomb Aviation.

The DeHavilland Tiger Moth is a beautiful 1930s-era biplane which was used by the Royal Air Force and the Royal Australian, New Zealand, and Canadian Air Forces as a primary training aircraft. These days it is often used as a tailwheel trainer and pleasure aircraft for those who are interested in vintage aeroplanes.

Phil Unicomb first started flying in 1976 whilst still at school and is well known and highly respected in the aviation industry both in Australia and overseas, so if you win the August Birthday Box Prize, be assured you will be in expert hands throughout your flight!

Because it’s your birthday, we’ll also include a voucher towards a Birthday Cake, thanks to Designer Delights at Charlestown and Whitebridge, where you can design your cake and eat it too!

Go for it, give it a tweet!
