These terms and conditions apply to the Uniworld Boutique River Cruises < https://www.uniworld.com/au/river-cruise/italy/venice-and-the-jewels-of-veneto/2025-venice-to-venice > prize of a cruise for two people on board Uniworld’s Venice & The Jewels of Veneto river cruise departing Venice to Venice for 8 days staying in a Deluxe river-view stateroom for 2 people (twin share) before December 31, 2025.
1. Promoter
The Promoter is Cruise Passenger (Cruise Media Australasia PTY LTD; 33 164 325 866; Suite G01, 46a Macleay Street Potts Point 2011 NSW Australia) and the prize shall be provided by Uniworld River Cruises (Australia) Pty. Ltd – ABN 31 149 428 348
2. The Prize (“Prize”)
The winner will receive a cruise for two (twin share) on board Uniworld’s S.S. La Venezia on the Venice & The Jewels of Veneto river cruise in a Deluxe river-view stateroom.
Cruise dates:  Stateroom is assigned at time of booking based on space availability and at the sole discretion of Uniworld’s inventory management team. Details are subject to change. Travel must take place before 31 December 2025.

Cruise Room category: One (1) double-occupancy Deluxe river-view stateroom for 2 people (twin share).

Booking Conditions: River cruise departure must be finalised and taken before December 31, 2025 and cannot be changed or transferred. Any bookings made after this date will not be honoured and therefore the winner will forfeit the prize. Bookings are subject to availability per above.
Prize Value
●   Cruise: Minimum valued at $7,499 per person (twin share)
●   The prize is not transferable, or redeemable for cash or credit

The Cruise Prize Includes:
●   All scheduled meals and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages onboard the ship (except premium spirits), all onboard gratuities and shore excursions as noted in Uniworld’s current World Brochure or at Uniworld.com/au. Airport transfers are included if flights fall within the transfer guidelines, available at Uniworld.com.

The Cruise Prize does not Include:
●   Airfares, hotel accommodation or pre/post-extensions. This offer excludes suite accommodations. Travel insurance is not included, and we strongly suggest the winner obtains travel insurance.

3. Promotion entry Period:
Promotion entry period commences on 9 September 2024 and closes on 11 October at 9am AEST.
It will be promoted via the Cruise Passenger website, eNewsletter, website and social media channels.
4.    Entrants
(i)   Entry is open to Australian residents only who are 18 years and over.  Entry is via an online form on Cruisepassenger.com.au which will include First name, last name and email address.  All entrants must answer a multiple-choice question and accept conditions to receiving marketing material from third-party sources. The entrant must answer the question and accept conditions  before their entry can be submitted. The answer does not have to be correct to be eligible for the draw.
(ii)   Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. Employees of Uniworld and/or any of its Group Companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (including any relatives, family members and/or household members) and anyone else professionally associated with this Promotion are expressly excluded from entering.
(iii)   Only one entry per entrant will be accepted. Multiple email addresses for the same person will not be permitted or accepted.
(iv)   Entries must be received before the Closing Date. Late, incomplete, invalid and/or corrupt submissions will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter and/or Uniworld for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
(v)   It is a condition of entry that the winner (and their travel companion) must agree to: (i) take part in any and all activities determined by Uniworld including, without limitation, video filming and/or publicity relating to this competition; and (ii) be available to travel on the Prize sailing date.

5   Selection of Winner(s)
(i)   The winner will be chosen at random by Cruise Passenger at 10am on 11 October, 2024 at Cruise Passenger’s office 46a Macleay St, Potts Point, 2011, from valid entries received before the Closing Date and the winner will be notified by Cruise Passenger, by phone and email within 7 days of the draw. The winner will be published in River Cruise Passenger eNewsletter on 22 October 2024.
(ii)   If the winner does not respond or cannot be contacted, a redraw will occur on 18 October 2024 at 10am at Cruise Passenger’s office 46a Macleay St, Potts Point, 2011, and posted in the River Cruise Passenger eNewsletter on 22 October 2024. The winner will be notified by Cruise Passenger, by phone and email within 7 days of the draw.
(iii)   The winning email notification will include instructions on how/by when the winner is to claim their Prize and provide passenger details, where applicable. Failure to claim and/or provide such details within the required time frame may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
(iv)   The Prize cruise must be confirmed no later than 14 days after the winner has been notified that they have won the Prize.
(v)   In the event that a winner declines the Prize, and/or is unable to take the Prize, and/or fails to respond within the required time frame, and/or does not claim/take the Prize, and/or is ineligible or otherwise unable to claim the Prize, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and Uniworld shall have no liability to the winner and reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to select another winner.

6   Travel and Health Requirements
(i)   The winner(s) and, where applicable, their travel companions, will be responsible for ensuring and checking that they (i) hold any and all documentation required in order to travel including, without limitation, ensuring that they are in possession of valid passports with an expiry date no earlier than six months after the completion of the Prize cruise and apply and/or have any visas and/or other permits required for travel; and (ii) have adequate and comprehensive travel insurance (evidence of which shall be provided to Uniworld if requested); and (iii) comply with any and all health and other requirements for travel including, without limitation, any required vaccinations, health certifications and/or permits.
(ii)   Prior to departure, the winner(s) are required to check, without limitation, the Uniworld website, the FCDO travel advice website and the equivalent country websites of the countries being visited as part of the cruise, for the latest advice and information about travel documentation, procedures, facilities, policies, health and safety information and vaccination & health requirements.

7   General terms and conditions

(ii)   By entering this Promotion, entrants are considered to have agreed, without limitation, to these terms and conditions and Uniworld Booking Terms and Conditions and Cruise Passengers Terms and conditions.
(iii)   The Prize is subject to these terms and conditions and Uniworld or Cruise Media Australasia reserves the right, to amend and/or update, without limitation, these terms and conditions and/or the Uniworld Booking Conditions, conditions of carriage and/or privacy policy(ies) at any time.
(iv)   The winner(s) must submit all the necessary information in the manner prescribed and by the dates prescribed, to be entitled to claim their Prize.
(v)   The fulfilment of the Prize will be managed by Uniworld
(vi)   Uniworld reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:
(i) cancel, suspend and/or modify this Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond Uniworld’s reasonable control impairs the integrity and/or proper functioning of this Promotion;
(ii) reject any entries and/or disqualify any entrants, at any time, if Uniworld in its sole and absolute discretion deems that there has been or may be, whether intended or otherwise, any: (a) breach of any of these terms and conditions; and/or (b) infringement or potential infringement of any third party rights and/or intellectual property; and/or (c) defamation or potential defamation of any persons, companies, intellectual property, institutions, cultures or similar; and/or (d) offence or potential offence caused, howsoever arising; and/or (e) breach of any laws, regulations, codes (including moral codes), uses, guidelines and/or any other generally accepted etiquette rules required (without limitation) from any internet users, platforms, providers, hosts and/or sites and/or similar.
(vii)   The Prize is as described, is not transferable, cannot be amended or varied, has no cash value (and cannot be exchanged for cash) and cannot be re-sold.
(viii)   Uniworld reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change the Prize and/or substitute any or all of the Prize with an alternative Prize.
(ix)   The winner(s) may be required to take part in publicity resulting from the Promotion. Uniworld shall be entitled to make use, in any way and/or through any medium, of any comments provided and/or made by the winner(s) including, without limitation, those provided by the winner(s) on any social media sites and/or Uniworld owned marketing channels (including the Uniworld’s website), for the benefit of promoting Uniworld and its Group and/or associated companies, subject to the applicable policies of the relevant social media sites and/or marketing channels.
(x)   In entering the Promotion, entrants agree not to post any detrimental content on any social media platform and/or in any other mediums.
(xi)   The determination and decision of Uniworld on all matters shall be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into (including as to the winner(s)).
(xii)   Uniworld reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to: (i) disqualify any entrant, claimant, competitor or their guest whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the Promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (ii) declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including without limitation any error(s) on any website and/or app of Uniworld and/or in any published  materials, regardless of format) and/or where there have been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the Promotion that materially affects the result of the Promotion and/or the number of entrants, claimants and/or the value of claims; (iii) add to or waiver any rules and/or terms and conditions at any time; and/or (iv) cancel the Promotion or any part of it, at any stage, in the event of circumstances beyond Uniworld’s reasonable control.
(xiii)   Uniworld reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or amend/modify this Promotion and/or the Prize, or any part of it and at any time, if any fraud, technical failures, change in applicable law(s) or any other factor beyond Uniworld’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Uniworld in its sole and absolute discretion.
(xiv)   Insofar as is permitted by law, Uniworld, its employees, agents, subcontractors and/or or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for: (i) any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage, cost, compensation and/or other expense which is suffered and/or sustained by any party (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion and/or in accepting and/or using the Prize [and/or its contents and/or their ingredients]; and/or (ii) any personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up/accepting the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Uniworld and/or, its employees and, where it is responsible for them, its agents and/or distributors. The winner(s)’s statutory rights shall not be affected.
(xv)   The winner shall be liable for complying with any fiscal and/or tax requirements (including, without limitation, any benefit-in-kind declarations and/or calculations) and other legal obligations and/or requirements arising out of, or in connection with, the Prize.
(xvi)   This Promotion shall be subject to the laws of New South Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New South Wales Courts.


8 Personal Data
(ii)   Any personal information and/or data provided during the entry process (including, without limitation, the entrant’s name) must be valid, up to date and truthful. Uniworld accepts no responsibility or liability for any incorrect, false or fictitious personal information provided to it.
(iii)   Uniworld and Cruise Media Australasia shall use the entrants’ personal data (including, without limitation, the winner and their companion’s names, addresses, emails) for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this Promotion. If entrants wish to opt-out, they can do so at any time by writing to Uniworld or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message received.
(iv)   Subject to Uniworld privacy policy and these terms and conditions, the winner(s) title, surname and county: (i) may be announced on the Uniworld Facebook, X (Twitter) and/or Instagram accounts, as well as on its blog and in other marketing material for a period of 6 months following the announcement of the winner of the Promotion.
(v)   By entering the competition, entrants agreed to opt in and receive marketing communications from Big Splash Media, Uniworld and Cruise Media Australasia.
