TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these conditions. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. The Promotor is Brisbane Heat Pty Ltd (ABN 71 152 487 002) of 1 Greg Chappell Street, Albion, QLD, 4010 (“Promotor”).

3. The Supplier is Queensland Cricket Association Ltd 55612695676 of 1 GREG CHAPPELL STREET, ALBION QLD 4010 (“Supplier”).

4. The Promotion will be open from 12.01am AEST on 1 September 2024 and will continue until 11.59PM AEST on 30 November 2024 ("Promotion Period").

5. By entering this competition, you agree to these conditions that personal information collected in the sign-up process will be shared with the Brisbane Heat, Cricket Australia & the Promoter subject to the Privacy Policy.

HOW TO ENTER

6. Entry is open to all Australian residents, over the age of 18 years ("Eligible Entrants").

7. Management, employees or contractors of the Queensland Cricket and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes), and their immediate families are not eligible to claim prizes.

8. If you are under the age of 18 years you must have parental/guardian consent to enter. The parent/guardian agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotion.

9. To enter and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period:

Purchase Brisbane Heat tickets or memberships via the RACQ member discount pages ("Eligible Entry").
10. Only one Eligible Entry per person (and per email address) will be accepted.

PRIZE PACKAGE

11. The total prize package is to the value of $1560, based on the following prizes:

PRIZE DRAW METHOD & PUBLICATION

12. One (1) winner will be chosen by random draw at 1.00pm AEST on 02/12/2024 at Brisbane Heat, 1 Greg Chappell Street, Albion, QLD, 4010. The Promoter and Supplier reserve the right to change the prize draw date at any time.

13. The winners, including any subsequent prize winners will be notified by email and/or phone within three (3) days of the prize draw. The winners’ names will be published on the Brisbane Heat website.

14. If a winner is under the age of 18:

The Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the winner's parent or guardian on behalf of the winner; or
If a prize requires attendance at an event, an adult may be required to accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
15. Prize winners (or their parent/guardian if under the age of 18 years) may be required to sign a release and indemnity form in favour of the Promoter and return the document to the Promoter prior to taking their prizes.

16. By accepting a prize, a winner (and their parent/guardian if they are under 18 years) agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing activities relating to the prize (including being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of a prize (where applicable)). The Promoter reserves the right to use the winner's name, image, voice, and likeness (“Image”) resulting from these marketing activities for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without additional compensation to that winner and the winners hereby grant the Promoter a perpetual, worldwide, royalty free and irrevocable licence to use winner's Image.

17. A prize (or any unused portion of a prize) cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash, except for the cheque components of the prizes. All other costs associated with a prize, are the responsibility of the winner (and their guest, if applicable) including but not limited to any costs or commissions associated with any currency conversion.

18. If the winner is the purchaser of tickets to a single game they will be upgraded for that game, and if the winner is a purchaser of tickets for multiple games, the winner will be able to select which of those games they are upgraded for from available upcoming BBL|14 fixtures.

UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW

19. In the event a prize has not been claimed within7 days of the prize draw, and all reasonable methods of communication are unsuccessful, or the winner is unable to attend or claim the prize, an unclaimed prize draw will be completed.

20. For the unclaimed prize draw, one (1) winner will be chosen by random draw at 1.00pm AEST on 10/12/2024 at Brisbane Heat, 1 Greg Chappell Street, Albion, QLD, 4010. The Promoter/Supplier reserve the right to change the prize draw date at any time.

21. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will then be notified in accordance with clause 13.

GENERAL

22. The Promoter/Supplier accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. Entries or submissions will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter.

23. The Promoter/Supplier accepts no responsibility for any variation in or substitution of a prize nor its value. If the Promoter/Supplier is unable to provide a winner with the nominated prize, the Promoter/Supplier reserves the right, in their discretion, to supply an alternative prize of equal or greater monetary value, subject to any directions given by State and Territory gaming departments.

24. The Promoter/Supplier shall not be liable for any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves the Promoter/Supplier.

25. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter/Supplier shall not be liable for any loss, damage (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion.

26. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, epidemic, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to the written directions of a regulatory authority.

27. The Promoter reserves the right at any time to request proof of identity and/or proof of valid entry, and disqualify any entrant in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions.

28. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.

29. The Promoter/Supplier may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information gathered for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic direct mail or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter/Supplier. Entrants may contact the Promotor/Supplier at any time to opt-out of such communications, as well as opting-out via the prompts in all electronic mail communications. All entries become the property of the Promoter/Supplier.

30. The Promoter excludes all warranties in relation to supply of a prize, except those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian Law, is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.

31. The Promotion is governed exclusively by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
