The Win A Trip to Byron Bay competition is subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entering the competition & winning the prize
To enter the competition, entrants must, during the Promotional Period, submit the completed online entry form at

Entries must be made between 9 AM AEST Monday 7th October 2024 and 11:59 PM AEST Thursday 27th February 2025.
Entrants can only enter this prize draw once & to enter, entrants must sign up for the Imbibe newsletter and be a subscriber at the time of the prize draw. The system will invalidate multiple entries automatically.
One winner will be selected randomly using an electronic random name picker online at
https://miniwebtool.com/random-name-picker/ at the Promoter's premises at 9B/11 Banksia Drive Byron Bay, New South Wales 2481 on Friday 28th February 2025 at 12:30 PM AEST. The competition is based on chance and skill plays no part in the selection of the winner. The Promoter will ensure that all entries have an equal chance of winning a prize.
The winner will be notified in writing by email and phone, as supplied on the entry form, on Monday 3rd March 2025. The winner's details (last name, first name initial, and postcode) will also be published on IMBIBE's official Facebook page timeline (

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days of notification, another winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries made before the competition closing date on Friday 14th March 2025 12:30 PM AEST at 9B/11 Banksia Drive Byron Bay, New South Wales 2481. The new prize winner will be notified via email on Monday 17th March 2025, and the new prize winner's details (last name, first name initial, and postcode) will be published on IMBIBE's official Facebook page timeline (

Entries received will be considered final. Entries received not following the competition terms and conditions will be deemed invalid.

Eligibility to win
By entering the contest, entrants confirm that they are eligible to claim the prize.
This competition is open to all Australian residents over 18 only.
This competition asks the winner to provide proof of identity.
Entries automatically generated by a computer in bulk or by a bot will not be accepted.
Any illegible, altered, reconstructed, forged, or tampered with or incomplete/false entries will not be accepted.

Claiming the prize
The prize must be redeemed and the trip taken by Monday 31st March 2025.
Travel is subject to availability and excludes the holiday period.
IMBIBE does not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to take up the prize and is not obliged to offer an alternative prize if the winner is unable to take up the prize.
IMBIBE will not accept responsibility for contest entries that are damaged regardless of the cause (e.g. technical malfunction).
If the prize cannot be redeemed by Monday 31st March 2025 due to restrictions on travel then no extension will be provided and the prize will expire.
The prize is non-transferable, if the winner doesn’t use the prize in line with the T&Cs, the prize is canceled and the winner is not entitled to an alternative.

Liability & termination
IMBIBE will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or a contest participant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of the winner accepting the prize.
IMBIBE, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner if the latter is unable to take part in the trip for personal reasons (including but not limited to illness, and lack of valid identity documents).
The prize is automatically terminated should IMBIBE cease trading.
IMBIBE reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
IMBIBE accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non- monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Offices stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of IMBIBE, the IMBIBE may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
