MELT Festival is here and it’s queer. Back for another kiki, MELT Festival has brought an unmissable line-up of LGBTQIA+ artists and allies from around the globe to Brisbane. With more than 220 dazzling performances and events on the cards, the festival is back for three glorious weeks of community, diversity and creativity.
This year, MELT Festival has snagged the likes of international pop sensations, cabaret icons and even the city’s first-ever River Pride Parade to transform Brisbane into a kaleidoscope of art, glitter and culture. From the Fortitude Valley Laneways to Ipswich, the city has erupted into a vibrant playground of queer joy and expression with queer cinema, comedians and community celebrations.
The Weekend Edition has partnered with our friends at Brisbane Powerhouse to give one lucky winner the ultimate MELT Festival weekend. The prize includes two nights accommodation for two at Ovolo The Valley on November 8–9, two tickets to Hans: Disco Spektakulär on Friday November 8 at 7:30 pm, two tickets for Splash Out boat cruise on the Oasis for River Pride Parade on Saturday November 9, $100 Bopple voucher to spend at Night Feast after the cruise, plus a double pass to Priscilla Queen of the Desert: 30th Anniversary Screening at Dendy Powerhouse outdoor cinema on Saturday November 9. The prize is valued at $1460.
