1. Enter our competition by clicking the link in Rachael John’s social posts or scanning the QR code at her events.

2. Entries are open from 2 December 2024 until 28 Feb 2025.

3. You can enter our competition if you are an Australian resident. If you are under 18, you need your parent or legal guardian to enter this competition and accept these terms.

4. Unfortunately, you cannot enter if you are an employee of Penguin Random House Australia Pty Ltd or any of its suppliers or competitors.

What are the conditions of entry?
5. By entering our competition, you agree to these competition terms and our Privacy Policy (https://www.penguin.com.au/privacy-statement). When you enter, you assign to us any intellectual property rights you may have in your entry.
6. You can only enter our competition once and you must use your own name. We will ignore any unauthorised entries or entries with incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information.
How will the prize be awarded?
7. We will draw the winning entry at our Sydney office (Level 3, 100 Pacific Highway, North Sydney) on 3 March 2025 by a panel of judges that we nominate. We will choose [a winning entry] based on originality and creativity. Chance plays no part in determining winners.
8. We will notify the winners by email. We will also announce the winner or winners on our website (penguin.com.au) and social media channels by 3 March 2025.

9. The winner will be asked for The Bad Bridesmaid proof of purchase to redeem prize
What are the conditions of winning a prize?

10. If your winning entry is selected, you consent to us publishing your name and winning entry. You also agree to give us any documents that we ask from you so that we can verify your eligibility to enter our competition.

11. You acknowledge that you cannot exchange the prize or take it as cash, and that the actual value of the prize may change. You also forfeit your prize if you do not accept the prize within 5 calendar days of us notifying you as the winner.

12. If for unforeseen circumstances a book is no longer available another book will take its place. Either similar in genre or RRP.

13. You acknowledge that we will not be responsible for any prizes that are lost or damaged during delivery, and that we may also suspend, cancel or modify our competition for any reason.
 
14. You acknowledge that the laws of the State of Victoria govern these terms and that you irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Victoria.
15. All those that enter will have the option to tick a box giving Rachael Johns permission to use their stories anonymously in her newsletter or/and her online
